We have just returned from what we thought would be a relaxing short break around a quiet pool. The hotel is very clean and the room immaculate. The food and wine was superb for the last 3 days due to a new chef replacing the old last week. However we should have been informed by Love Holidays that the small hotel is being re-furbished. The drilling and constant noise was particularly bad throughout the day , however as the weather was so good , we were lucky. The staff were very apologetic however the work will not be finished until April. We would visit again and would recommend all inclusive as it is excellent value.

Visited as a Thomson package your on self catering basis. Room quality was good with everything we needed Didn't use catering facilities so can't comment. Location perfect. Bus stops nearby. 10 minutes walk to plenty of good restaurants.

Just returned from a week stay here. On arrival early evening to a moderate welcome, can’t remember his name. Told where our apartment was (which was a superior studio). This was part of the self catering complex which was across the road. Our studio apartment was rather small but then it was a studio. Twin beds small wardrobe Space had plenty of hangers and we had a safe (included in the superior studio booking along Sutherland free WiFi) small dinning table two ring hob, microwave, kettle and fridge. Bathroom with good shower included hair dryer which was quite powerful. Just round the corner from our apartment was a nice pool. There are larger one bedroom apartments but due to the weather, which was very very cold and lots of rain, a lot of people were complaining how cold they were to the extent they had to ask for heaters, so we were grateful for a small room. All very modern (recently refurbed). Maids came in every day apart from Monday and Friday. Those staying in the apartments access is via a gate across the road from main hotel, this is closed around 8pm access is via the main hotel reception you go downstairs and through a tunnel (well lit so don’t panic) to get to the other side. We went for breakfast which was good, and if you’re not all inclusive you pay after you have eaten which was €6.25 each which was quite good, that said you could walk down the road get full English for €2.50. Carlos was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would we stay here again probably not mainly due to it being up a large hill, not recommended for those with walking difficulties. There is currently building work going on renovation of other apartments over looking the sea. Maybe if we’d had a room with sea view our opinion may be slightly better, but didn’t enjoy staying in the superior studio. TV remote you need to pay a deposit (which you get back when return it) also if you are not entitled to free WiFi then there is a charge , sorry but didn’t know what the daily rate was. There is a pool table table tennis.

This was our 5th visit to this hotel in the past 4 years. Simply excellent. Rooms have been upgraded, food was first class, fantastic choices at each meal time and staff as always friendly and courteous.

We were ment to be staying in the apartments but we had a problem with the safe and I wouldn't recommend as you have a fair walk across the road and through the tunnel. Oscar the manager is the best you will find in any hotel. Oscar sorted us out straight away. He moved us the very next day. Oscar and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is beautiful. Spotless clean and because of the poor weather conditions we were given a heater and nothing was to much trouble for them. Supermarket is well stocked. I have to say the location in the old town I didn't really like as it was on a high hill with no other pubs restaurants beside it. It is aprox 20 minutes walk to the new town where everything is located but you can get a taxi for €4. Thanks again Oscar and all the Saff

Just returned home from a fantastic stay. Stayed in the newly renovated apartments across the road from the main building. The décor was modern and very nice. So relieved we were put on this side as if we were on the main side I would have went crazy over the construction work, so much dust and noise by the pool! The activities were very good and Paola the activity coordinator is absolutely brilliant at her job. She was super nice and made the activities a lot of fun she seems like she really enjoys her job, the Flora is very lucky to have her!

Recently returned from 8 night all inclusive stay . Our second visit to this hotel . We were upgraded to junior suite which was lovely and had a sunny balcony which we didn't have last year . Views of pool and sea . . Maid service could not be faulted and beds and towels changed on regular basis . The hotel is still undergoing refurbishment and area around pool was noisy during day due to this . It started at 8 in morning til 6 during week but we were aware of this prior to arrival . Still didn't spoil our holiday and would return again . Staff are great and work very hard to ensure holidaymakers are happy . We hired a car so away most days . Parking spaces all around hotel . Did eat in restaurant most nights and food varied . Had breakfast every day which was very good especially the freshly made omelettes. Bar very quiet at night and we tended to have a couple of drinks and walk down to harbour . Taxi back costs only 3 euros .

A nice three and a half star hotel at the top of the hill. Twenty mintutes steady stroll down to the sea front. Catch a bus back at €2.80 or a taxi at €3 - €4 unless you're keeping fit walking back up! The hotel is split into Flora1 in the main reception building and Flora2 directly across the road. If it's raining there's a pleasant underpass beneath the road to the dining room and other facilities. We had a junior suite in Flora1 which had a spacious sleeping area and a smaller sitting room. We did enquire beforehand if a junior suite had a separate bedroom, we were assured that it did and whist this is factually correct we were surprised to find that the 'sitting room' was less than half the size of the bedroom; so because the bedroom was quite spacious we tendered not to use the 'sitting room' much at all. Over in Fora2 apart from a few south facing rooms the rooms were quite dark inside not getting much natural light. These were the rooms with kitchen facilities. We were bed and breakfast so can only comment on that; they have almost got breakfast right! Those seasoned travelers to Spain will know what's coming next, there are plenty of cold meats and salami and cheeses, even brussel sprouts and broccoli in batter for the continentals, as for the Brits there's baked beans, fried tomatoes, freshly fried or scrambled egg and omelette's with a good selection of different breads - the toaster takes for ever but I think that's standard - but when will they ever get the bacon and sausage right!!!! The bacon is the standard steaky stuff and the sausage is like the cheapest economy tasteless supermarket stuff. We know that just down the road there are local cafes selling tasty 'English breakfasts' for €3, with proper english back bacon and quality sausages, it can be done so come on you hoteliers, step up to the plate. Rant over! The staff were good especially Isabella on reception and Wendy in the dining hall. Overall a nice place to stay and would return.

Stayed here in a self catering apartment for a week in January. The room was modern, clean and bright! I requested a room with a pool view and was given one of the rooms with a terrace and sun loungers right out facing onto the pool which myself and partner loved! There are two pools a main pool across the road with a pool bar and another pool at the self catering apartments. We didn’t feel the need to go to the main pool as ours was right on our door step which we both loved! The room is cleaned daily apart from a Monday and Friday which the cleaner advised us of in advance! I didn’t feel the need for the room to be cleaned everyday so the cleaner would give me fresh towels etc- she was very friendly and approachable! This was exactly what we were both looking forward to a cheap week in the sun and this apartment is ideal for this! the apartment us up a hill around a 15min walk to the beach and strip however the hotel do offer a free bus several times a day! or you can jump a taxi for 4 euros. I come to Lanzarote every year for a break in the winter and I will be booking this apartment for my next visit !

this hotel was going through new decor ,and it needed it .not the best i have stayed in ,stayey over new years eve was told bar was alincusive till 12.30 by manager but was told when we went for a drink at 11 05 we had to pay for it not the best start for the new year .as result bar was empty after 11 15 as most people went to other bars looking to celebrate the new year that a bit more atmosphere would never stay for new year at this hotel again .staff not very helpful either.
