Just arrived back from here after a week with our grandchildren.firsyly the rooms are very nice and have been refurbished as has most of the hotel.the pool area was nice and clean but the pool was freezing.though we understand will be heated next year.the location is good 10 to 15 mins walk to old town and beach,All downhill,so we normally got cab back for 3 euros was worth it.they do run a free bus to beach and back at certain times which is nice.the staff were really friendly and helpful.the entertainment was very Good, something on every night and a kids club for the young ones.we were AI.the drinks were good ,amstel beer and named soft drinks.the wine wasn't great but the white was the best of the 3.the red was a little chilled for my liking.the food in our opinion wasn't great, although you could make something up,but we are out 3 times.some excellent restaurant's in old town.as a previous traveller said they were a bit tight for taking food out of restaurant.our 2 grandkids missed breakfast most of the time so we thought we would take some bread back to give them toast,we were told not allowed, hotel policy, when we protested they said they can eat at snack bar, well the only do junk food there which I don't think children can eat for breakfast!.so maybe a rethink on your policy there.but all in all a good holiday in a lovely resort.

We have just got back from a seven day all-inclusive stay here-family with 2 children age 4 and 6. Overall we had a great holiday and with just a few small adjustments, this hotel could be fabulous. Location: Hotel is close to the airport. We only had a 45 min transfer on the coach with 6 drop-off ahead of us. In a taxi you would be about 15 mins. The hotel is just a short walk from the old town and harbour-yes up a big hill, but we walked there and back pushing a buggy and it was fine. The main beach is about 15 mins walk - again a bit hilly, but we walked it several times. Rooms: We were in the apartments across the road, plenty of room for four of us and the kitchen facilities seemed really good. They were regularly cleaned and towels changed. Pools: Not heated and freezing for us in April, but the kids still played in the kiddy pool and the main pool was actually fine once you braved the initial jump in! I think there are plans to have the pools heated next year-and really the kids pool needs to be re-coated as it is very slippy on the bottom, we saw a few little ones fall flat-including our own! Food: We were all inclusive and thought the food was really very good in the restaurant-our only build would be a better variety of “plain foods” there was pizza every night, but not always chips or pasta, which could be a bit limiting for my son (fussy 4)-saying that my daughter (6) ate a good meal every night with a great choice of grilled meat (veal, steak, chicken). The AI snacks were limited to junk food mainly (burgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets) and the hotel isn’t very accommodating to you taking food out of the restaurant during the three meal times-I made my kids a ham sandwich at breakfast one morning and was told I couldn’t take food away, which felt very unfair given that we were AI. Drinks: Adequate for what we wanted-beer, wine and local spirits. AI guests get 50% off all branded drinks also. You can’t fill water bottles up, which for us was awkward trying to carry cups of water back to our room across the road with two kids in tow-it would be helpful to have water provided in the rooms for AI guests. Kids club / entertainment: What can we say-this made our kids holiday. They can go to the club twice a day (brilliant if the weather isn’t too clever) and every evening there is a mini disco with games, followed by the evening’s entertainment (bird show, drag show, magician, quiz). Great family fun. Excursions: Out weather wasn’t brilliant to start with, so we booked to go on the South Island tour with camel rides, the national park and vineyard. It was €80 for the 4 of us (plus €18 for the camel ride) and we all though it was great. We booked on reception-really straight forward. All in all we really enjoyed our holiday, if they just try and be a bit more accommodating with regards to AI guests and sort out the bottom of the kids pool, this will be a top hotel 👍🏻

The rooms are very modern and spotless we are still here now there is no building work that we have seen so it must be finished we are very happy with the quality of our room and hotel there has been a lot of investment we even have a built in wifi router in the wall for free internet at fast speeds English channels on tv can't complain it is on a hill but we rented a car from Canberra median and got a brand new Astra for only €110 for 7 days with no deposit maybe a good tip if you have a driving licence

Been to the flora many times and never tire of going the staff are so friendly & helpful the hotel is so clean & they are always improving the entertainment team are brilliant with children & adults so I would recommend this hotel

Wow read the mixed reviews before we went we’re pleasantly surprised when we arrived beautiful hotel and made even better by all of the staff . Stayed over the Easter period all inclusive.food was excellent with plenty of choice nothing was ever any trouble to the staff .our room was spotless and the maid service excellent highly recommended hope to get back soon. Well done to all the staff Thank you

This complex is a great location and base to explore the island. Rooms are cleaned regularly, staff are all helpful and pleasant and I personally didn't have any problems with the beds or units as other travelers have mentioned. Walls are a little on the thin side but other than that, no complaints! Cute little 'adult' pool, nice family pool with plenty of sunbeds. We didn't eat at the hotel as we chose self catering but the kitchen area in our room was adequate for what was required.Very close to a SuperDino supermarket which is very reasonably priced and there are many restaurants within a short strolling distance. I would recommend this hotel to families and couples on a budget.

This is the fourth time that we have stayed here and it just gets better each time. The newly refurbished rooms are just so comfortable and modern. They are bright and super spacious. The room we are in which is a junior suite has a sitting room with led tv and a comfortable settee with a fridge, kettle and a coffee maker. The bathroom is bright and the shower is just fantastic. When you are in it you just don’t want to get out. It is truly a great showering experience with a very large shower head raining down an abundance of warm water. The separate bedroom has also got a LED tv on the wall along with computer points. A nice touch is when you open the wardrobe doors a light comes on by a movement detector. Little extra thoughts that makes this hotel stand out from the norm. The rooms are kept spotless by a hard working team of chamber maids whose work is excellent with a pride in their work which shows. The food is great with a large selection to suit all tastes. I don’t think anyone would go hungry here. The chefs work hard giving a varied menu daily and the waiting staff from both the restaurant and the bar keep everything just as it should. The pool which I must admit I haven’t been into yet looks very inviting specially when the sun is shining which is everyday. The animation team always busy, always doing a great job during the day entertaining the kids and the parents with a varied program. There is the usual kids disco in the evening which is very popular and well attended by the fashion conscious youngsters who seem to really enjoy themselves, along with the animation girls of course. Most evenings there is a show on with various artists throughout the week to entertain you. Well done all,you are a credit to the Hotel. I hope to return again.

We have just come back from holidays in THB Flora Lanzarote. We went AI. We can say we were happy about the service and accommodation. The apartment: we booked a superior one bedroom apartment and we got it. It was a bit dark, but all essentials were provided; cleaning done 5 times per week, towels changed on the days when the cleaning was done, however I requested the daily change and it was done with no problem. Beds somehow not fully comfortable, seemed a bit cheap. But all in all, it is a 3 star hotel, not a 5, so you get what you pay for. Food and canteen- all great, the staff working VERY hard; food good even for such a fussy eater as myself- I always found something for me; a lot of fresh fruit, veg, fish. There were some really good dishes and a few really bad in my opinion. I was a bit disappointed with the croquetas as were not home made. Some fish really dry as if too long in the oven. Did not try the cakes but the arroz con leche delicious!!! Also the coffee from the canteen machine- just couldn't drink it, it was just awful. However we paid for the decent one in the bar, so it wasn't the end of the world. Reception- staff really helpful, nothing seemed to be a problem for them. Animation team- our son went to the kids club and was very happy, the girls there were really nice and hardworking! Pool- never any problems with getting the sunbeds, although water was a bit too cold to swim (although the kids were happy anyways) All in all- a great stay. Five stars for the service, four stars for food and cleaning, one star for coffee. Another important thing- we had a night flight and had to leave the room by 12pm. The receptionists told us we could use the room for additional 30 euro (we didn't) or could stay in the hotel as long as we need, use the bathrooms, canteen, the pool and still use the AI drinks and snacks. It was a GREAT surprise and a very unusual service. I am really grateful for it! Thank you all staff working there and making the stay so pleasant! |I will recommend this hotel to all.

We are just home after spending a week at the THB Flora hotel and have to say we were so impressed with the accommodation, facilities and the staff. The lady at reception who greeted us when we arrived was lovely and then later in the week Gregorio also helped us out with queries too. All of the staff, from reception to the cleaning staff were helpful and friendly. Regarding the accommodation, we stayed in a one bedroom superior room i.e. room 324 which was across the road (less than a minute from reception). The room was immaculately clean, bright, modern and airy. It was good to find that it had a tv in the living room and also another in the bedroom and the free wifi which was an essential for our teenagers. At our side of the road we used the large pool which we preferred as it was quieter. The other bigger pool situated near the main reception/restaurant/pool bar was more popular with younger kids. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again. PS. Tip 1- wouldn't rate the supermarket that is on site. Just a few minutes walk away is the Dino supermarket which was excellent and provided fresh baked breads, croissants etc. Tip 2: Taxi's so cheap. For 4 of us returning in a taxi from the Biosfera Shopping Centre it was only 2.75 euros!

We just got home from our week at the THB flora, all inclusive. For our 5 year old boy it was absolute heaven! It's the safest place we've ever been with him which meant freedom and fun all week long! Loads of kids his age, and the staff in the kids club were excellent! We also have 2 year old twins... they loved the holiday to but we're limited with the pool as it isn't heated yet *(they're due to upgrade next year) which will be amazing! The rules get sloppy and the bridge that separates the two pools is also slippery and one of the twins hit his head when he slipped. If the baby pool was shallower and more enclosed it would help. The splash park is also only open 2 hours a day. The park is good but has ground rock on the floor so quite sore when they trip over... sand would be a lot better. For us.... The rooms were great! Recently refurbed with the pool and stunning sea view! We felt very lucky! The room was beautifully clean, in fact the whole hotel was immaculate! The all inclusive drinks were Great altho the snacks were a bit limited. The food was nice, a bit samey after a while , but I feel like most all inclusives are the same. The kids entertainment was spot on! Just could have relaxed more if the pool area was safer! The staff were lovely! Especially Luci in the restaurant! Thank you for a wonderful week! And will be back later in the year and definately next year!
