I love the view from my room I can see the snow the mountains with plenty of snow,If have to go back to Lake Tahoe I stay at the same place!

There was nothing unique about this property. This property for the value was considerably poor quality. A much needed upgrade is required. It’s stuck in the 80’s.

All the amenities on the property

The property was clean and the staff were friendly. The Sleep Number bed was not operational on one side and the jacuzzi spa was also not operational during our stay.

Great location to ski at Heavenly. Investing in maintenance would go a long way. The quality of the knifes in the kitchen is poor. The place is clean, and it has a beautiful view of the lake.

Beautiful views from the Cascade building. Our room was a decent size with full kitchen. However, when we entered into our room, we were surprised to see every single piece of furniture (every chair, every coffee table, every armchair) was placed ON TOP of our bed or dinner table. After setting our bags down, we realized that our unit was possibly flooded because the carpets were soaking wet. After walking around the unit further, we saw a half-dozen fans turned on and pointed down at the carpets. We called the front desk to alert them and they moved us into another room that seemed like a slight downgrade. We received no help moving our things and weren’t given the bell-carts that we had requested, as well, when we made the call to the front desk. Anyway, after Guest Services contacted me regarding the issue, the representative told me, “I don’t know what you want me to do.” I told her I wanted some form of compensation for our troubles and for our wet bags, and for the hassle of having to move to an entirely different floor. We were given a very small room-credit after approx. 2-3 hours of waiting for a response. Truthfully, I’m upset. The view is beautiful but I don’t think I’ll ever stay here again. The beds are covered with static electricity, the bathrooms smell of mildew, the parking garages are in an inconvenient location, and the WiFi although free is very slow. The beds, advertised as Sleep-Number beds, were inoperable.

I liked everything about the resort. Had a wonderful time.

There are plenty of buildings, but we were put at a building not anywhere near the pool. So far we couldn't walk, we had to drive. Also, our couch bed was horrible, my kids couldn't sleep because it was so hard.

The location is great, and the view is fantastic. However, the heater in our room never worked for our entire 4-day's stay. The engineer had came three times after we had called multiple times, and the problem never got fixed. The temperature was mostly below 32 degree during our stay, and we were frozen in our room. The space heater they gave us smell so badly that we had to turn it off. By the end of our stay, both my wife and I got a cold (fortunately the kids did not). Moreover, the shower water was not very warm for half of time, and the draining problem in the shower was never fixed neither. They were trying to sell us a timeshare for the VIP Preview program, and after all these problems, we decided not to go to their presentation. Now they threatened to charge us $30 for not going to the presentation. Not sure this is the right way treat your potential long-term guest. Overall, the facility is quite old, so it has a number of maintenance issues (e.g., our friend's room was too hot and they had to open their window, and some guests got stuck in the elevator). It was an extremely disappointing hotel.

Great location & beautiful view. A little dated on the window blinds as they would not function properly. Also did not like having to pay a "resort fee" plus extra other fees. We didn't even utilize any of the resort amenities. Other than that it was a nice stay.

I really enjoy the vacation in the Ridge Tahoe. They have hot tub and indoor swimming pool. At night, we spent our time over there, especially my kids.

The room we were assigned looked straight as a chain link fence and garage. Although at first they said they could not change rooms, they did move us to the top floor which had a nice view that we appreciated. We had some trouble with the air beds, which they attentively tried to address. The location gets you away from the bustle of S. Lake Tahoe and ski access is convenient with on demand shuttle service for the short ride to the lift.

Very nice room, wasn’t nice that allegedly a kid pulled a fire alarm and our building was evacuated and we had to stand outside until it was investigated. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Exvellent facilities. Truly treated like royalty. Close to Heavenly Valley Stagecoach Lift, buses that transport you into Stateline/South Shore. Tons of activities for the whole family...

Smoking where not allowed. The smell was terrible. Also, marijuana smoke permeating thoughout the hallways and rooms.

Beautuful views and well designed. But, it was pretty warm in our room when we arrived. Room was nice and the staff was great but not sure how a resort that nice doesn't have air conditioning. Would stay again though.

I have been coming to The Ridge for more than 30 years but this last time was my worst stay ever. They put us in the Terrace building which I had never stayed in before but it's my least favorite of the buildings I have stayed in. One of the things I look forward to the most at The Ridge is the view. This time, we had a view of the parking lot. Hugely disappointing considering one of the main selling points of this place is the view. The Jacuzzi inside this building was drained so we walked to another one across the street at The Plaza building, which was also closed. Worst of all, they put us next to a wedding group who were having a huge party until 2 AM. This was our first trip with our baby and we had some difficulty getting her to sleep. She finally went down around 10 PM and it was about that time when the party started next door. Screaming, cheering, music, people singing, etc. I walked up the hill to reception and notified them of the noise. A security officer was sent out but he only shouted at them through the window to shut it down. They closed the curtains and lowered the music until the guard left and then resumed the party. I called security again and this time they sent a guy to the room who threatened to throw them our if they don't keep quiet. After this it was still another 30 minutes for it to be quiet, which was now around 2 AM. I did not get any sleep. This experience makes me not want to come here anymore. It was awful and we couldn't wait to go home.
