Welcome to SHEEPNOSE VALLEY, a four bedroom, three bath log home located on the golf course at Rumbling Bald Resort in Lake Lure. Enjoy the feeling of your own private estate situated down a long driveway on one acre of land with lush landscaping and grass at the end of a quiet resort cul-de-sac. Located on the 10th tee at Apple Valley Golf Course, Sheepnose Valley offers an amazing vacation experience in any season. Spring brings dogwoods and mountain laurel, summer weather is perfect, and autumn always has a dazzling array of colors.

Immediately upon walking inside, you'll be stunned by all this exquisite mountain home has to offer. The great room features soaring vaulted ceilings, wall of windows overlooking the golf course and Youngs Mountain, open inviting floor plan, stacked stone gas log FIREPLACE, big flat screen TV, comfortable seating on the leather sectional sofa with ottoman, and exquisite décor. Off one side of the Great Room are doors leading to a full-length deck overlooking the grassy lawn area with four-seat table and umbrella plus two additional patio chairs. Off the dining area of the Great Room are doors leading to your own amazing outdoor paradise. Here you will discover a wood burning OUTDOOR FIREPLACE, gas BBQ GRILL, and seating area covered by pergola. There is room for everyone with two outdoor sofas, and table with umbrella and seating for six. What an amazing place to dine, play games, read, or just sit by the fire and enjoy the views while watching the golfers. Just imagine the memories you will make here.

The impressive kitchen has granite countertops and stainless-steel Bosch appliances. Here you will find everything you need including refrigerator with freezer drawer, microwave, electric stove and oven, dishwasher, KEURIG DRIP COMBO COFFEE MAKER, toaster, double sink, plenty of cookware, and ample dishware and glasses for the entire group. Pull up a stool to the breakfast bar for good conversation or casual dining. The dining room table with seating for eight is just steps away. The home is also equipped with Samsung washer and dryer.

There are two Master Suites with private full bathrooms on the main level. The Master Suites each have King size bed, flat screen TV, nightstands with reading lights, full dresser with drawers, side chair, ceiling fan, and doors to the patio overlooking the golf course.

The expansive lower level is ideal for entertaining. Here you'll find a family room and game area with large sectional sofa, flat screen TV, foosball table, game table, and doors to the grassy outdoor area.

Downstairs are two additional bedrooms. The lower-level Guest Room has a King size bed and adjoins a full bathroom that also opens to the lower-level family room. The second bedroom downstairs is a Bunk Room with two built-in bunkbeds each with two twin mattresses.

Rumbling Bald Resort amenities and activities are conveniently located. Sheepnose Valley is walking distance to the clubhouse and pool, and just a short drive to the main resort. Steps away is a path ideal for walking or jogging. Resort amenities include sandy lakefront beach, outdoor pool with lazy river, indoor pool and hot tub, putt-putt golf, tennis courts, basketball court, two golf courses, exercise paths, fitness center, pro shop, spa, restaurants, and more! Enjoy boat rental, kayak rental, swimming, hiking, jogging, exercising, and social events in the Resort.

Our Guests are also welcome to use the amenities at Rumbling Bald Resort. The resort features all the convenience, entertainment, and amenities you need! Most of the features are located within 1.5 miles away from the home and can be accessed with the guest passes you will receive at check in.

Drive around the lake to nearby downtown Lake Lure, Chimney Rock Village, and Chimney Rock State Park. Here you will find Morse Park where you can stroll by the water's edge of the lake or walk along the river in Chimney Rock. Most of our Guests take day trips to nearby destinations like Tryon International Equestrian Center, Asheville, Hendersonville, Grandfather Mountain, and the Blue Ridge Parkway

*** Lake Lure will be undergoing a drawdown starting January 1st, through the first quarter (March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet has been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. No personal watercraft will be allowed on the lake during this time. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season.
