It is a beautifully located property with many opportunities. We were treated well and we love all the beauties of the area, but it is aging in some areas. Our morning breakfast was huge and delicious.

Beautiful property, friendly staff, wonderful food. Only drawback was that our room was a little dated and our partial ocean view was more of a pool view.

Some of the staff was very attentive but seemed like we found ourselves in some sections with wait staff that didn't care. Needs another hot tub. Just the one and fills up with children whose parents are not watching them. Had to go over to the other Hyatt property multiple times to avoid the noise. All in all a good stay with clean rooms and beautiful property.

The staff especially at the pool, water slide, outdoor pool restaurant were often rude and unhelpful. Someone even snatched and yanked towels out of my wife's hand like she was a thief and stole a purse. A more appropriate response would have been something like "Miss, we have an issue with people coming off the beach and stealing our towels can you please go to the counter located at (direct to the location) and they can assist you with towels." Most employees seemed like they had little interest in being helpful, doing their jobs, or being of service. The food quality and the Luau, pool side restaurant, as well as the steak house were also all disappointing. I will point out on the last day the front desk did give us a very late checkout time with no additional cost which was helpful and very much appreciated.

It was pretty, kid friendly. The beach was too short. We wanted to play beach volleyball and needed to walk to larger beach for that.

The hotel is currently going major remodeling as of 12/18/2019. The construction woke us up every single day at 730 am. The pools are not heated. Very small spa that will fit maybe 12 - 16 people. One spa for a resort that has hundreds of guest. The construction is really in your face everyday.

The pools and facilities were amazing! Every single employee we encountered was friendly and helpful!!

Overall the hotel is nice and the staff is great. They are currently renovating one tower so part of hotel was closed including the star gazing at night. The rooms that are not yet renovated in the middle tower feel old and dated and our room had small ants in the bathroom. We upgraded to an updated suite and were much happier with that room

The property is absolutely beautiful. So clean, so perfectly kept. If I had one compliant it would be when your on vacation, you always have left overs from restaurants. Every room should have a small micro wave as well as a small refrigerator. Lovely resort!

over priced for food and drinks. resort fees are are over priced along with having to park your car.

The staff was very friendly and the food was really good.

We stayed here 33 years ago for our honeymoon! 33 years later I was looking forward to experiencing all the upgrades and luxury most would expect. Sadly it seems very little had changed the rooms were very outdated, the sliding door to the outside was almost impossible to open it was so heavy and hardly would roll. Everything looked like it was back in 1986 except maybe they updated the carpet and a few things. The staff was pleasant but not exited to welcome us again as I would have expected at this level and price point. Our Ocean front room was not Ocean Front because they were doing some repairs on those rooms so it would have been nice for them to let us know instead of giving us a partial Ocean View room. Also I think that charging $22 a night to self park is a joke or you can pay $32 a night to have valet service. I would sadly rate this experience q 5 out of a 10 overall and this is an honest evaluation again based on the fact this is a HYATT run operation and the price point. We like many do not mind paying the higher prices for accommodations but we do expect higher level of quality and services in return. Aloha ......

Good location. Staff is rude and not accommodating at all. Room Wi-Fi nor TV worked my entire stay and staff did nothing about it when I mentioned it. They literally did not care and said there's nothing they can do about that.
