Room size were small. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking lot was terrible, the parking spaces are extra close, it is very difficult for the driver to get out of the car yet alone passengers. In addition to all this, people park like idiots (in two parkings or parking on the line) and the hotel cant do anything to the guest’s car (tow or citation, fee) bc they dont want to get a bad feedback. I left my Airpods and few receipts on the counter while i checked out and headed towards the hotel. 30 mins later I called the hotel and told them, and they “checked” and said that no airpods were found in the room. Very disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone especially if you are on your honeymoon and will he renting a car to be seeing a lot around the Maui Island! 2/5 stars.

The staff was amazing the moment we checked in. The property had many things to do and the grounds were beautiful. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful resort !! Kids loved the penguins, fishes and the birds !! What we didn’t like : Few of the staff near the swimming pool to help with water tubes and floats, were rude and non courteous. I am being very frank as you asked for feedback - It did made me feel “ what the hell “ ?

Note that the property charge $32 resort fees which is not listed on Orbitz. Orbitz rep on the phone did not provide truthful information.

My ocean view was just a partial view. Other than that it was excellent.

Great location, lobby/restaurants/property is very nice, rooms are outdated, no streaming TV options (have to PAY for in room movies) is super lame, but...it's Hawaii so you should be outside anyway...

The property was wonderful. We loved the beach, the pool and the waterfalls in the garden area with swans, ducks, and flamingos.

The resort and spa had all of the amenities you cojld wznt. It is an easy pick up for mzny oc the attractions on Maui. The concierge was experienced and recommsnded the best experiences. Hyatt is upgrading this facilities over time to stay current with vacationers wants and nedds.

I don't know where to start on this review. There are a lot of negative reviews online that, in my mind, are totally false. From my objective, The Hyatt Resort Maui is perfect. The Resort Itself: The grounds themselves are amazing and meticulously kept. The lobby/atrium area in the main building is timeless and the open air, views, palm trees make you feel exactly how you should in Hawaii. The Swan Court breakfast and dinner area is really unbelievable and we couldn't have asked for a better location to start our day. The flamingo's, swans, parrots, penguins and fish felt like we were in a tropical paradise (which we were). Rooms: I think if you have any qualms about the rooms you should book at the least an ocean view room or even better an ocean front room. We had an ocean view room and it was really comfortable, clean and beautiful. Our room, like the rest of the resort, was meticulously clean and bright. The lanai's were enough size for the 3 of us to sit out there, have a drink and just enjoy the view. Pools: We mostly stuck to the Hyatt Residence pool which was perfect for us. Even though it was the beginning of spring break and there was a lot of people the pool area seemed to disburse everyone well. We never had a problem find chairs and it felt like we had the pool to ourselves most of the time even where there was other people in there. Staff: The house keeping, front staff, service staff and management treated us with smiles and professionalism every day.
