Spacious and Open

Beautiful home with lots of space to spread out or gather. Although we were there for funerals this week we will definitely come back for more of a “VayCay” trip in the future. The lake was so beautiful to wake up to I know our kids would have loved to find some time in the lake. This spot is near family in Lake George and Park Rapids both near by. The location is near fun shops, fuel, great restaurants, parks (I highly recommend Itasca State park) and more and yet the house is off in a private and quiet area!

A beautiful property!

Loved being on the small lake. Was fun to have a paddle boat and floating raft. Our grandkids begged to be on the dock fishing constantly. The 3-1/2 year old was casting and pulling in sunfish right and left! The long driveway and dirt road was great for taking walks!!

Private lake getaway!

This cabin is truly a gem. If you are looking for a cabin away from everyday life on the lake, then this is the spot for you. The outside brick oven didn’t appear to work, and it was hard to get the heated floors to work in the master bathroom, but overall it was a great vacation spot. The bedrooms were a little small and need new carpet but the kitchen, sunroom and vaulted ceilings in the living room were stunning. We even saw a deer each night come up to the backyard. I would also recommend trying to get a ladder or easier access into the lake!

Beautiful, relaxing get away

This is a quiet, spacious place by the lake that all 8 of us loved. It is well taken care of and the kitchen was a treat to cook in. It has all the dishes, cookware and appliances you would ever need and a nice gas stove. The owner was great to work with and responded to our question immediately. We would definitely like to return next year.

Tranquil, secluded get-away

What a great place for the family to congregate and stay after the college graduation events in town! Everyone was content- from the 8 yr old to up through the grandma and grandpa. Beautiful house and property on the lake with everything anyone could need or want included.

Great getaway

Very nice with a glitch

The property was lovely. We enjoyed our stay. However the owner called and said a remote and A Roku was missing. It was rather distressing, Later he called to apologize. It was found. This situation was not’ appropriately handled.

Beautiful property

This is a perfect getaway, close to the Itasca State Park and we also drove to the lost 40. Beautiful home with deer frequently in the backyard and a view of the lake from a bonfire.

Cozy and Accommodating

This home is so cozy and spacious and has everything you need. The master bedroom has an amazing bathroom with steam shower and massage jacuzzi tub and walk in closet. All the patio doors makes the views wonderful for seeing wild life and the lake! The kitchen is well stocked with everything. The sun room was great to sit in and read or watch TV. Charlie was quickly responsive and a wonderful host. We will for sure be back. We miss it already. It was so comfy!!

Awesome Property

Fantastic cabin with beautiful views in Northern Minnesota. Everything we needed for cooking, having fun, sleeping, parking, everything else, you name it, this place had it. Was great. Enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

Great backwoods get away

This property was exceptional. The house was a perfect fit for my extended family where we spent a relaxing weekend. The house plan is very open to allow larger groups to gather, yet has enough private spaces as well. Kitchen and sun room were a definite highlight. Would definitely recommend to others.

Perfect Winter Getaway

Our family of six had a great winter vacation at this cabin. The area is a winter dreamland. The home is beautiful, and was very clean. We especially enjoyed the big kitchen (very well equipped). My husband and son caught supper ice-fishing on Lake Minne. We went snowshoeing at Itasca. Charlie, the owner, was very helpful and stopped by to give us some fishing tips. Also, we made good use of the well-stocked game cupboard. Highly recommend!

Beautiful get away

Updated, luxurious cabin on a beautiful, peaceful, remote lake. The master bedroom had a steam system built into the shower, a heated towel rack and a jacuzzi that included a fun light show. The high chair was very convenient for our baby. Very clean. Host was very responsive and helpful. He made sure to check in to see how our stay was, he dropped off dish-washer soap that was running low and offered to help pull us out of the ditch with his truck. It snowed a few times and he was quick to plow the driveway. The kitchen is well stocked with things to use and very spacious/modern. There were large TVs in both living rooms, the 3 season porch and the two “adult” bedrooms. Would highly recommend!

Snowmobile outing with friends

Property was easy to find, close to the snowmobile trails and snow conditions were good! Property manager(Charlie) followed up with us to ensure we had everything we needed. Evening TV selection had much variety, it was NFL playoffs timeframe, no cable so games where not available unless you had your personal access. Charlie made an effort to try to find the games for us on YouTube/no luck. The property had everything you would need. Very nice stay!

We had a great family winter vacation!

This place was a hidden gem. We had a great time. The snowmobiling was a blast. The cabin and property was beautiful. We all fought over the steam shower and the jet tub. The kids had the best time sliding down the hill onto the lake. The host was very accommodating. Definitely will be coming back next year!!!

Fantastic Hideaway near Itasca State Park

Our group of friends really enjoyed our stay at this newly renovated home situated on a small quiet lake. The home had plenty of space to spread out when we wanted and large gathering spaces when we wanted to be as a group. The property is private with room to roam. We also put the lakefront and fire pit put to good use. Everything was first class from the master bath with whirlpool, custom kitchen and nice furnishings. Our only regret was that our busy itinerary pulled us away from the place when that time could have been spent just relaxing on the property instead.
