Gina the host is so welcoming and helpful. She booked several activities for us , horse back riding and pool side massages, both were fantastic and she also got us our first groceries.Directions and instructions are clear and she was promptly responsive to any questions. The meals provided by Chef Lucy were great! And Ramon was excellent, always available and responsive to any questions. The house is great, spacious and nice layout for sharing. The kitchen is well stocked. The outdoors is nice with a pool and hot tub and it is right on the massive beach that is great for walking and going in the ocean. It is a very relaxing place and the near by town is good for restaurants and grocery. A car is required. We all had a fantastic time!

Amazing trip to La Ribera / Playa Colorada

Everything about our stay was perfect and above expectations. Gina was quick to respond to all questions we had prior to the trip. Upon arrival we were taken away by the gated entry and visual of house / backdrop of ocean. The house itself was comfortable and had everything we needed, including any and all beach toys imaginable. The beach itself was beautiful and relatively deserted. People are around, but very few. We did day trips to Santiago and Los Barriles; had a dinner at the Four Seasons, and also had a delicious meal prepared by Ramon. We paddleboarded in the ocean, fished (and caught!) from the beach, and went on shell hunts. We can’t wait to come back and explore more of La Ribera and the East Cape. Thank you for the hospitality!

Awesome Property

Amazing seaside getaway!

We had a wonderful time. Our host Gina was responsive and a pleasure. She made us feel welcomed with little unexpected extras. The house is clean and fully stocked. Beds are as comfortable as a 5 star hotel. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Access to the beach it right outside the back door. The spa and pool are clean and in working order. The property manager Ramon was available for anything we needed. Thank you again Gina for a wonderful stay. We will be back!

First trip to the Hacienda in early 2023. Back again this year and the place is even better. Several positive changes under the new owner. Ramon, the property manager is top notch. Always able to help and quick to respond to questions. Very deserving of a good tip.

Time to Unwind

My wife and I enjoyed a week-long stay at this wonderful home. Our friends, another couple, joined us for our stay. Where to begin? The home is amazing! Location is perfect! Gina was a pleasure to work with from accommodating our requests to stocking the home with food. Additionally, Ramon and Lucy made us dinner multiple evenings. Best decision we made. The food was delicious. Highly recommend staying at this home!

We can't criticize anything on this property. It is nearly perfect in every aspect. Beds are over-the-top comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked with good equipment. We would definitely stay here again. So much fun. Thanks Ramone and Gina. You are great host.

Absolutely Amazing!

A perfect stay in a perfect villa! We stayed here for our honeymoon after a wedding in Cabo and it was the ideal place to unwind. The amenities in the Hacienda are endless including beach and snorkel equipment, gorgeous linens, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and most of all, peace, privacy and tranquility. La Ribera is a rugged little town with some good bars and restaurants, and the four seasons is nearby if you really want to get upscale. The property hosts were absolutely incredible, leaving us a nice gift for our honeymoon and making us feel so welcome. We will absolutely be booking this property again and apprecate everything provided. Highly recommended!

Gina, thank you so much for hosting such a fabulous home! I don’t want to RAVE & give away this hidden GEM secret, however, this place ROCKS!!!! Location is ideal with close proximity to beach! Highly recommend quad dogs ATV rental used everyday along the beach for fishing & playing! Fabulous sunrises & sunsets right outside your door! Pool was great! Ramone & Lucy provided us a fabulous meal one night everyone enjoyed! We also found a great restaurant that prepared our big catch of pompano & dorado on our fishing day! Enjoyed Los Barilles, Cabo Pulmo & Santiago really close by fun places to visit for shopping, waterfalls & nature along with snorkeling! We covered a lot of ground in a week so we MUST return & we Will!!! Loved everything about our stay especially our home away from home❤️🏖️🌅thank you!

East Cape Getaway

This property is off the beaten path, but from the moment you open the front door your hit with beautiful views of the Sea of Cortez right out your back door. Hacienda Del Sol home is wonderful and Gina the owner is prompt to respond all requests. Ramone the property manager is awesome and checked on us to make certain everything was okay. A beautiful place to chill and enjoy the serenity of the ocean. We rented ATV’s and they brought them right to the property. We drove ATV’s on the beach and to Las Barrilles, so much fun. I highly recommend this beautiful home.

WOW!! We will be back!

This house is amazing!! Accurate description so it did not disappoint. Was so well stocked and it really made a huge difference for us. We made most all our food at the house. Costco in los cabo was our first stop before heading out. Biggest help was the purified water dispenser! Sleeping to the wonderful sound of the surf was epic as well as the view from our bedroom! This is our 4th consecutive year coming to mexico and this was our favorite place by far! Gina and Ramone were so helpful and accommodating and responsive. We had a blast with the paddleboards, snorkel gear, kayak, boogie boards. We loved the lounge chairs and the firepit. Pool was not heated and there is no hot tub, but we loved cold plunging the pool. There are pool floaties but we never did end up using them. We also loved the firepit! This place is so quiet and peaceful. Locals were friendly - a true taste of mexico! La ribera is more local people and los barrilos felt more american. Not much for groceries in la ribera. We went to a supermarket in los barrilos. Souvenirs on main street- fun shopping! Playa arbolito was incredible! We saw a shark, beautiful fish, and a sting ray. Not many people there. Would give this place 10 stars if possible- a truly special place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Thank you Gina for sharing your house!!!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay - we took long walks on the beach and rode around on the atv. The weather was a bit chilly but great for shopping in town. Ramon was always prompt and so helpful!!

Perfect for us

Stayed 3 weeks and everything about the house was just the way we like it- one story open floor plan with old Mexico design. The beach is wide and flat, perfect for long walks. Secluded for peace and quiet but close enough to La Ribera and Los. Barriles. Ramon was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

La Ribera Beach vacay

Wonderful house on a beautiful stretch of beach. Too windy to hang out on the beach, but great location for diving at Cabo Pulmo and other excursions. Surprisingly good restaurants in La Rivera and two great meals supplied by Lucy at the house. Highly recommended
