The grounds of this property are very beautiful--the pool, the breakfast area, gorgeous. This is a very beautiful area as well. The room itself doesn't match the grounds--ours was built like a small mobile home instead of a permanent structure. It was very tiny and not particularly comfortable. We pack light, but if you have a lot of belongings it will be very crowded in there. Our cabin had two tiny bathrooms; one was cleaned and prepared for us, but the other one still had the previous guests' garbage in it, and it was not restocked with soap, etc. Not a big deal, but when I mentioned it as we checked out they didn't seem surprised about this oversight, so that made me wonder about the general cleanliness of the rooms. Again, the grounds are truly beautiful here, and the pool was so nice and very enjoyable with a gorgeous view. Just a mismatch between room quality and property quality. I do feel this is priced a bit high after seeing the room itself.

Superb location, quiet and easy access. The transition into a boutique hotel has worked and delivers a very good experience. The on=site restaurant operates at a high standard but when staying foe several days the menu is quickly consumed, perhaps a menu change a couple of times per week would enhance the experience but there are other restaurants to suit most pockets nearby,

Simply beautiful

A beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was huge and had great views - big enough for our party of 3 adults and could have easily accommodated 4. Restaurant attached to hotel was amazing - great gourmet food in a spectacular Al fresco setting. Our only criticism is that there wasn’t a massive choice - especially for vegetarians. We ate there both nights of our stay, and the veggies in our party had to have the same dishes on both nights.

What a place! I’m hesitant to write a phenomenal review for fear others will find this paradise! if you are looking for a peaceful escape on an immaculate property in a dwelling that feels like it could be your dream home in a remarkably gorgeous surrounding, look no further.

Nice hotel in a secluded location, ideally placed to visit the vineyards and hilltop villages of the region. Plenty of parking space right next to the living areas, although it would be good if they laid a few paving stones from there to the main area, as you will have to carry your suitcases all the way if you don’t want to damage its wheels on the gravel, or pack small And the approach road to the Jas is in a poor state and could do with fixing up. Once you are in though, it’s all good. Rooms are well turned out and spacious; ours had a large bathroom and a walk-in shower, the only minor downside being that we couldn’t get the towel heater to work which meant damp towels throughout. The overall size of the property means that you will never feel crammed in with other guests. Dinner was both of a high quality and reasonably priced, and service was very attentive and friendly. The buffet breakfast was varied and well worth its price as well. All in all a very enjoyable experience to be recommended.
