Beautiful home close to town!

This house was perfect for our little family reunion weekend. The house was beautiful, well stocked, and clean, and the pool was wonderful! We explored around town easily because the house is located near all the things! Kids loved the Science Mill, adults enjoyed the shops, and the food options were great for the whole family. The owner was excellent in responding back quickly and answered all of our questions. We will definitely be booking here again next time we come down this way!

Hot hikers

Darling rambler with comfortable beds, updated kitchen, large dining room and wonderful pool! It was 95 and sunny during our stay so after hiking it was marvelous to have our own private pool to enjoy! Had trouble getting the hot tub heated in the evening when it cooled off. But that was the ONLY issue we had! 10/10 would stay there again!

Birthday Wine Tasting weekend

Great location and perfect for our group. We dined “downtown” Johnson City And went to a wine release event at William Chris. Our host was super accommodating and responsive as we had a slight issue with the new heating system. Highly recommend this home to others and we plan to return as well.

Awesome Place

Really loved the house and location. It was perfect for my husband’s bday celebration with friends. The house was furnished nicely and everything was clean. I was very paranoid about breaking any rules. There were so many and a charge listed for everything done wrong, that it wasn’t easy to sleep at night, honestly. I am a natural rule follower. The beds were comfy. The place was spacious. The location was perfect. The hot tub was great!

The perfect Hill Country Christmas

We had a wonderful stay. Grandma was able to enjoy all 4 of her nephews. Home was well equipped with a huge dining table and we were able to all eat a family after grilling on the charlcoal Weber grill. We were only a 4 minute walk to downtown to enjoy all the beautiful lights and nightlife.

Very Nice Place

The house was really nice. We had a great time spending Thanksgiving. The house is a few minutes walk to the courthouse and PEC where all the lights are. Was really easy to get in touch with the host whenever we had questions.

Great Location

We loved this location. Our intent was to visit wineries between Johnson City and Fredericksburg, and we found Johnson City to be a great hub. We didn't really cook, but there are plenty of pots/pans and dinnerware as well as utensils and spices. The bedrooms were well appointed and all rooms were spacious. Did not use the pool beings it was pretty cold, but you do have the option of heating it for a fee. The backyard is huge with lots of privacy and seating. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great family gathering

My children, grandchildren, and I spent a week in the house. Everyone had fun in the pool, and we appreciated the big dining room table for the games we love to play. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep. We’ll come again.

Great Experience

The house was very clean and had all the amenities that are needed. The backyard, complete with a pool, hot tub, covered area, grill and firepit, was a paradise to enjoy after hoping around nearby wineries. Great trip to celebrate with family.

We had a great time. The location was great. We enjoyed the pool and the amenities located at a reasonable distance of the house. We had a small situation with the entrance door locking system but was attended at a reasonable time. Highly recommended.

Great House with fast access to downtown and wineries

Our stay was amazing. We love the house and will be back for sure. Just a few blocks off the downtown area of Johnson City makes it easy to walk to shops and restaurants. We spent 2 days at the wineries. The house is very close to many amazing wineries. Just a short drive to Stonewall, Hye etc. While we did not swim or use the hot tub, it was very nice. Backyard is fenced in which is also a nice bonus! Nice outdoor furniture to enjoy a cocktail or meal outside. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of room!

Roomy JC house with nice facilities

My two sisters and a small dog (approved ahead of time with extra fee) stayed at this beautiful home in Johnson City. The house layout is great as we all had our own bedroom and bath. The kitchen met all our needs and had the required pots,etc to make two meals at the house. The house is within easy walking distance to restaurants and wineries in downtown JC. The pool was nice but we chose not to pay the extra fee to heat it since the temperatures were chilly at night. We did like the backyard and enjoyed hanging out there for much of our visit. Overall great stay

Cute house for a girls getaway

The house was cute and clean. The area was quiet at night, but a quick walk to some stores and eateries. We loved the pool and the hot tub, and the beds were all comfy. Great art work in the house too.

Great ladies trip

We came to celebrate a birthday and enjoy the Texas wine country. Many great spots that we were able to walk to. The house was perfect. Plenty of room for all 6 of us. We will definitely book again in the future.

Fantastic Girls Trip Spot

This property was the perfect spot for a girls weekend!! A short drive from San Antonio made it the perfect spot for a getaway. We had 6 adults and all had great accommodations in the home and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the pool/hot tub each day. The dining table was the perfect spot for a large charcuterie board! Short drive from all the wineries on 290 and Fredricksburg. The host was fantastic and offered great communication.

Great Location with Terrific Hosts

I was pleasantly surprised to find this home in Johnson City. I had always driven through on my way to Fredericksburg or Austin who knew there was great restaurants and live music and the most amazing view of the stars from the hot tub at night. The house is spotless and well appointed. There was a lot of thought and attention to detail that really makes your stay comfortable. The price is unbelievable compared to similar properties in either Autin or Fredericksburg. Don't miss out this it is a great alternative, and you can actually enjoy both if you choose to make a day trip in either direction.

Roomy home in great location

We enjoyed our stay at this nice home in JC. Easy access to restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. Christmas lights at Pedernales electric co-op were stunning. Nice launch point to wine country! Plenty of room for large groups. The large fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog. New pool and hot tub look nice though we didn't avail ourselves of them. Owner was responsive to questions before/during the stay. We anticipated patio furniture with a gas fire pit as depicted in the property listing at time of booking, however, those are no longer in place. There is one recent pic showing the new pool/hot tub that doesn't show the furniture/pit. A classic fire pit requiring wood (purchasable nearby) is available in the corner of the yard (no furniture around it). It would have been nice to have the former setup but it didn’t diminish our stay. It’s just something to be aware of if that is what you are expecting. We’d stay here and in this area again!

Fabulous gem in Johnson City

I have stayed in this house twice now and it is fantastic! The house is beautifully appointed with all the comforts of home. The owners have done a great job of providing everything to make your stay wonderful, including a fully stocked kitchen, great bathrooms with bath soaps, pool towels and so much more. I highly recommend this property!!

Johnson City Getaway

Lovely updated ranch style home in Johnson City, Texas. Within walking distance of all restaurants and downtown. Very quiet neighborhood. Well stocked home with comfy beds and linens. Highly recommend.
