Cozy Chalet and a quiet neighborhood. The whole family enjoyed spending time here. Our dog was the happiest! Definitely will be looking forward to visit the next year.

Winter getaway

It was as expected. Good pans for cooking. Downstairs bedroom was super duper tight. Bathroom toilet doesn’t flush well. It’s a 3-4 flusher if you need to make sure it’s down. No wood was left to make a fire as the listing said.

Peaceful and lovely

Wonderful little property with enough wilderness to feel peaceful but not too far off the main roads. Be careful on the stairs - especially in sock feet - I’m 5’5” and was fine, my 6’6” husband was also fine but went up on all fours. Which was a laugh to see. Clean, cozy, comfortable bed, everything worked well, would love to come back someday.

Thrifty getaway in the High Peaks

Overall I was pleased with our stay. There were a few details that may help the next visitors like one light bulb out in the bathroom over the sink, no over head light over the stove and battery change in the clock. Just some minor details. We would have cleaned up the dog hair but found the vacuum did not work well. Also, we would have liked a few more towels; we would have washed them but, no washing machine or dryer; maybe that wasn't advertised that there was not one, I don't know. The setting was beautiful; we love the Adirondacks.

Toasty Indeed!

This small cabin is quite nice for a couple, and very dog-friendly! With a fire in the wood stove, the cabin gets very toasty. We note that stairs up to the loft are very steep and tight, so they might not be easy for all to navigate.
