Guess I should have realized that with a name like Extended Stay, that people would be living here! The smell was so bad like someone had been cooking something and burnt it. Also, the people across from us were having a fight and yelling. Dirty hall ways with people sitting out on the front area smoking who knows what! Other questionable looking guys sitting in the lobby talking and cuss words were flying. Also, there was food left in our refrigerator, yuck. Office chair in the kitchen area stilll had crumbs all over it left over from someone. There was a yellow stain on our sheets, not sure what it was. The only light was the front desk clerk. Great guy, very nice. We left though! Didn't feel safe and the neighbors and outside noise were too much! Found a new hotel down the road for the night... at midnight.
When we checked in, Raymond made sure we had all of the accommodations we needed. We needed to change from a King size to two doubles because my daughter was able to surprise us and come stay. He made sure everything was quickly changed and taken care of! He also made sure everything was set up for extended parking so we did not have to park at the airport. In the morning Margarita gave us breakfast suggestions. She then wrote out the directions on how to get there. Then how to get to the airport from the breakfast place. Overall the staff was helpful and went above and beyond what they needed to. We will stay here again.
I have stayed here when I had to work at a different location away from home for almost two months. It has stove, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. I could cook in my room if I didn't want to go out every night. The bed was very comfortable. I asked for a handicap room so I felt very safe in the shower the the bars to hold onto.
Very friendly staff. Clean hotel. Internet very slow. Hotel is a great value. 10-15 minutes to downtown attractions like the zoo and white river state park. I would stay here again. Only negative thing was bed and pillows were too soft. Overall great hotel and great value.
We had a very pleasant time at this hotel. The staff were always helpful and communicative, the room was clean. There was a full kitchen and dinette, which was very handy for our seven day stay allowing us to make some of our own meals. Breakfast was basic, coffee, instant oatmeal, and package snacks such as muffins. As well, there is an extra charge for room service for stays less than a week, so we needed to take out our own trash, change out our towels, and request restocking of bathroom supplies. But this was communicated to us upfront so It was not a surprise, and frankly, for the price it was a minor inconvenience. Essentially, I would say this is a budget friendly, no frills, hotel that is clean and takes care of the customer in the areas that are important. If we are in the area again we will most likely return.
We are in town for a gymnastics event for my daughter. ESA is close to the airport and downtown. Property is clean and well appointed. Rooms are big, clean and seem to be fairly new. King size bed is comfortable, bathroom area clean and newer. Breakfast area is slim (coffee, oatmeal, packaged muffins and breakfast bars) hey it's free so who's going to complain. Only issue (not exactly their fault) was one of out neighbors had a dog that started barking at 4am two mornings in a row and later the 3rd morning. Would definitely recommend this facility.
I had to stay over due to weather and found this ESA for $44 on Priceline's Express Deals section. It was better than average but still not a 2.5 star hotel. If you've never stayed in an ESA hotel, this is a good one. Typically the clientele is there long term (the more semi-permanent, the worse the experience), the breakfast is only 'grab and go', the coffee is fair but the rooms are clean and good for one night or if you're on a budget. List price of $90-96 is way overpriced for the 1 to 2 star quality. This property near the airport looks newer from the outside, the desk staff was polite and prompt but not the most cheerful. The room I had was clean and a little worn around the edges already. Every room has a kitchenette with full fridge, microwave etc but I didn't use it. Worse part was the Interstate noise (and I was on the 'away' side of the hotel) and the being near the runway. Thankful for white noise apps on phone devices or I wouldn't have slept much. Breakfast is always disappointing in comparison to other 2.5 star Priceline deals. Just granola bars, pre-packaged muffins and instant oatmeal. And fair coffee. Like the price but not happy with Priceline for putting this in the wrong category.
Trash from previous room occupant left in room. Was just going to mention at check out (hey, life happens) but then had the "pleasure" of a cold shower the following morning as there was no hot water for a 7am shower. If their water system cannot handle peak usage times, it is time to invest in their business and upgrade. A cold start on a below freezing day!!
Great size rooms and clean! The front desk staff go out of there way to make your stay feel more at home than any other hotel I have stayed at . Heather is by far the best front desk lady I have met. She was nice, friendly and very helpful. She made me feel at home when I was there for 4 weeks on a business trip. all the other staff were just as helpful but heather is the person that worked with me the most. I will defiantly be staying there again this summer when I go on vacation! It is also a reasonable priced hotel for all they have to offer. A small kitchen, dish washer, nice size living room and bed room, free WIFI, and they even have pots and pans, silverware at requested all you have to do is ask. is free as well. Thank you heather and the rest of the staff at the Extended Stay America for making me feel like i have a home way from home when I am in Indy!
My time at the Extended Stay hotel was absolutely wonderful these people are really great at customer service especially Heather who promptly assisted me with the upmost concern with my room and additional questions I was optimistic about. I would hire her myself If she didn't already have a job. The fitness center is great also the washing machines are very functional unlike most other hotels. I would recommend this hotel to the President!!!!
