My stay met my expectations. It was being remodeled at the time.

We came to Indy for a getaway with two young kids. Let me just say this is NOT a place to come to relax or to bring kids. They are currently going through major renovations. They really should just shut the hotel down while construction is going on. We had a corner executive suite. The two rooms next to us were being renovated. Renovations go from 9 am to 7 pm but the crews start setting up at 7 am. My teeth are still chattering from the sound of air chisels busting up tiles in the room next to us. Terrible environment for children especially ones trying to nap. Also, the room was freezing cold. We were told nothing could be done but they brought us a space heater. Also not great with small children and one space heater doesnt do much in a large multiple room suite. The pool area was also freezing. Water was warm enough but the air temperature was frigid. Again we were told nothing could be done. General condition of the hotel was VERY rundown. I can see why they are renovating. Big stains in old carpet, paint peeling off ceiling in bathroom and just outdated everything. That's in addition to all the dust and dirt all over from the construction. The location is great and the rooms are very big which is why we picked this hotel for our family. I'm sure the hotel will be much better when the renovations are complete next year. But this place should not be open to the public right now. It's borderline uninhabitable. All the guests we encountered felt the same way.

Staff was extremely helpful and polite, especially the room service and cleaning staff. Probably some of the best I've ever seen. Check in/check out was a breeze, breakfast was AWESOME. The biggest concern was the room. Orbitz gave us the shoddiest room, right across from the elevator on the 15th floor. You could hear everything anyone was saying while getting on/off the elevator. It was so bad that my toddler and wife slept in the king bed and I had to sleep on the floor with the bedroom door shut because it was so loud. It was hands down the worst night's rest I've ever had. So I wouldn't recommend this hotel because even though most things were great the single most important reason to me is a restful nights sleep, which it miserably on. The open hotel design and thin walls also played a part in the problem. On the 15th floor we could still hear people in the lobby at 1 am...from our room...with the bedroom door shut.

The staff at this hotel are extremely helpful. My issue comes with the cleanliness and Air conditioning. Our first room smelled so horribly they moved us to a different room, but there was still an old musty smell present (not nearly as bad as the first). With it being over 85 outside, AC that functioned properly would have been helpful.

Clean pool. Great room. Breakfast and manager's evening reception were included. Overall a nice stay.

The couch that makes into bed was terrible. It felt like all springs. No extra pillow in the room for it also. You had to pay extra for wifi which most hotels have for free now.

The staff was great and did everything to make us comfortable. Awesome breakfast and late snacks.

We just stayed at the Embassy Suites for a Colts game. The location of the hotel is ideal... blocks away from everything you need in downtown Indy. The rooms are large (outer sitting room with separate bedroom) which was more than enough room for two people. Granted we booked last minute but paid over $200 for a mid-sized market. I'd frankly expect a bit more at that price point. The front desk person was very helpful, trying to get us dinner reservations at one of the more popular steak houses. She wasn't successful but we appreciated the effort!

Room was humongous, but that's to be expected from Embassy Suites. Very clean and comfortable. Very good amenities like pool, gym, happy hour and breakfast. Only complaint was the wifi... at this day and age you shouldn't have to pay extra to get wifi, but that's just my opinion. Other than that, everything was fantastic.

At first we thought it was a great hotel, wonderful location. Once in our room, the staff had never cleaned the fridge out from previous occupants. There was rooting good in it. The shower stopper wouldn't stay up and they had to get maintance in ther but couldn't do anything about it until they ordered parts. The pull out couch mattress springs were painful,to sleep on and was given a extra blanket for padding witch did nothing, and told nothing else they can do. The ice vendor wasn't working on our floor or the one below us. Once we did located ice it was dirty and I wouldn't dare put it in our drinks. We had to go to the restaurant to get ice and got a lot of attitude. The fitness room was missing weights. We were very disappointed in our stay.

Hotel was great. Clean and peaceful. We only stayed one night but would have enjoyed staying longer.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Although my coffee maker didn't work the first morning of a two night stay, the staff replaced it and it worked great the next morning. I feel WiFi should be free everywhere. Why can you get it free at the coffee shop and not your room is beyond my knowledge. The option for WiFi was to buy it or if you were an ATT uverse customer then you could sign in via that route. I am a uverse customer and still had difficulty signing in and staying signed in. I ended up hopping on some other free WiFi spot not controlled by embassy suites.

In town for a concert. Hotel very conveniently located. Staff was pleasant both a front desk and in breakfast/reception area. Good for families. Problems: hotel needs update. Pillows could not have been less comfortable and headboard was metal and impossible to lean against. Also heat was not controllable - on in winter, off in summer. We we told to open a window if it was too hot - which it was. Food at the 'hot' breakfast was all cold even though we were there within 20 minutes of opening. Good location and clean, but certainly not the best Embassy Suites

We stayed here as a large group for a family wedding! It was perfect!

The hotel staff is helpful. Location is great and easy to find.

This hotel was perfect for our weekend get away. Excellent location, staff and overall value.

Hotel is in a great downtown location. Never have to go out in the weather as it is connected by indoor walkways throughout downtown, including Lucas Oil Stadium, restaurants, and the Circle Center Mall.

Clean room and a great downtown location, but needing some updates. TV signal was lousy, access keys kept failing which caused excessive delays getting in and out of the parking garage. Room was very clean, but showing signs of wear - cracked sink, dresser drawer flimsy, etc. Well worth the cost if these conditions did not exist.

The staff and amenities were awesome. The view was good, it was quiet, water was hot. I wish the concierges would chase off the panhandlers and swindlers outside. we saw the same guy two nights in a row telling stories and asking for money. The second night he followed us back to the front doors of the hotel. He was out there bothering another hotel patron after we went inside.

Stayed 3 nights with 2 co-workers for conference at Hyatt. We were able to walk to the Hyatt without stepping foot outside, which was perfect for those rainy days. But the way to get back and forth was confusing, so better directions from the staff would have been very helpful. The breakfast was excellent - cooked to order omlets were great! The evening reception was a great place to wind down, with a variety of coctails available. The room was spacious and loved having 3 sinks all with mirrors with 3 women in the room! Unfortunately, the sofabed was very uncomfortable/springy. We asked to have the matress changed, but nothing was done. We had to lay towo comforters on the matress and ask for extra blankets so one of us could sleep there. When we first arrived, no one was at the desk by the front door and we needed the elevator due to everything on a cart. We ended up riding up in the employee elevator, which smelled like cigars, due to some gracious employees who happened to be going up and noticed we were lost! Otherwise, the staff from the front desk to those clearing off tables were very friendly and went out of their way to assist in any way they could. The front office also allowed a 1:00 check out at no extra charge due to meeting ending at 12:30. Also, accidently booked a king suite and staff was able to change reservation to a 2 double suite the day before arrival even though hotel had no vacancies!
