Overall a very good place to stay, the facilities are nice, the room is clean, the food is excellent. I'm giving 4 stars to this review just for one downside (read below) The main bar/main pool area is full of flies, bees, and mosquitoes that are just annoying while you are on the pool or zipping a drink. It would be nice if they install insect zapper lights around.

You have to call for a free ride provide it from the hotel to move anywhere, if you love walking heavy up hills then is for you, the free ride didn't take you to every place you want to go , some place like the beach you have to walk back nd for to reception, but not too bad, over all is a nice place but the rooms look very pretty in the website and you get there and get it n the room and nothing like in the picture, I got very sick, I had diarrhea all day by eating on el Mexicano buffet, I think one salsa was bad, other than that the beach offers a lot of activities.

We stayed here as part of a friend's wedding. The hotel is perfect for such an occasion although the rooms are basic and bare and the hot water and pressure is lacking (though it is Mexico so probably to be expected). The pool and beach location though is great and the large selection of food is great (we chose the all-inclusive option). Overall, I would stay here again with a group or family but probably not for just us as a couple.

everthing was great..we pass a very nice time.i have only one complaint with the rental car because i paid you the insurance. and hertz huatulco i paid again for rent and insurance. can you explain me why. i hope you soon response.thank you.

everthing was great and beautiful. i dont have any complaint. i would like to return soon.

Loved walking through all the beautiful landscaping and didn't mind the stair climbing because the setting was so gorgeous. The room I had was updated, but had a problems with large ants that the can of Raid the hotel supplied couldn't eliminate. They did send an exterminator, and I tipped the maid well, asking her to wash the floor (all tile) but the pesky little bugs kept appearing. I understand this is the tropics, but didn't want to bring those ants home in my luggage. The staff was great and the views spectacular.

Good stuff, the hotel staff was very nice all time , exceptional service, nice hotel concept blended with the nature

Nice family hotel, the staff is really friendly and servicial. A lot of people on the breakfast restaurant but you can always find table and the food is good. Rooms are simple, big enough but missing a warm environment.

Worn out tired hotel. Food was warm at best, buffet style, terrible. Soups were lukewarm. Quality & selection was 2 on a scale 1-10. Select resturants were measured portions & poorly prepared. If they offered a free trip back we would not accept other than use the free air & stay at a quality Hotel! Please, try me out?

This trip was absolutely excellent. The location of the hotel was ideal and very picturesque. The rooms were clean and airy, with beautiful views. The staff was very courteous and ready to serve our every need. I would definitely recommend Las Brisas.

My husband and I were married in October and knew the perfect time of year to go to Huatulco was in Dec. We booked through an online broker and had no problems with customs, the flights, hotel staff or accommodations. I loved the hotel and the junior suite was great with ocean views, very friendly staff (bellboys) and great contacts for tourist adventures to Llana Grande and Bahia Tours. When going to the mountains, be sure to spray yourself with insect spray before you leave or the sand flies will bite. They appreciate if you don't use spray in the National Forest as its protected and there are a lot of butterflies and waterfalls which could be polluted. But so worth the rugged trip up the mountain!!

Just not my idea of all inclusive, just food, buffet only, average quality.

We love huatulco and will be back, and las brisas hotel and the staff super service

Nice Hotel. But it has a few issues. It's a HUGE resort built spread all over the hill. They provide golf cart rides from the lobby to the rooms, but if you are on-the-go or can't wait can't wait for the cart, you'll walk 10-15 minutes across the hill to go back to your room. Overall was pretty good. Food is good, pools, beaches and staff were good too. The only problem we had with our room was that we got something completely different to what you see advertised. Don't be fooled. All those nice 'white linen' rooms you see on the pictures are the highest suites. Our room was very average comparable to any econo lodge, and had no ocean view, contrary to the description. In retrospect, it was a bit pricey for the end result. Also, if you're trying to escape the crowds, this hotel is very crowded. This Hotel has become a charter's company favorite and it dumps loads of Canadian tourists weekly. A much better pick would be to stay at Zaashila, Barcelo, or Dreams.

We do not usually stay in all inclusive type hotels, preferring more local fare, but we were so very happy with this experience. It is in a beautiful setting and the staff could not have been nicer. They do not always understand English but that was part of the charm. Our room was lovely, very clean and the view of the ocean was incredible. We did not do the inclusive food portion of the hotel and that was perfect for us. We like to be selective in our meals and often just eat a late lunch and have tapas with cocktails later. So the "all you can eat" mentality was not for us and we had that choice which was perfect. We also do not take many classes, or join in group activities but found it easy to do our own thing. You can join in or not as much as you like. We saw a wonderful Mexican Fiesta night and the dancing and bands were high quality entertainment. The other nightly music was also enjoyable.

Overall the hotel was ok, nice view of the Tangolunda Bay, nice hotel, but service wise is far from what I expected. Some employees are not very friendly, food at the restaurants is not very good for the price you pay. One of the restaurants don't take cash. When ever take a taxi from outside, because the ones at the hotel are expensive, especially going to the airport. Huatulco on the other side is beautiful, great temperature and great bays and great city, I encourage people to go, oh, and very inexpensive place.

This hotl caters to fully inclusive groups, mainly from Canada. [...] The fully inclusive aspect meand that the restaurants are buffet style, and mediocre. Even the signature a la carte retaurants were disappointing. The arranged activities are annoying. Loud music in the main pool bar/pool area for the water aerobics, whether you want it or not !Good beaches and amenities. Rooms are adequate but uninspiring ( unlike some of the views !). Taxi ride to town, or anywhere else for that matter. If you like the "Butlins" experience - you'll enjoy it ; but hotels near the town are cheaper, but degraded, and those near the golf couse are very expensive. Great part of the coast though. Don't miss it.

Good resort. Wonderfull beaches. Alot of walking, food was average, Weather is really consistant here, 30+ every day no clouds. We love Huatulco

great staff friendly and helpful Wonderful location great beaches great food large clean rooms

We spent most of our time at the private beach. Great water, very nice beach. The weather was GREAT! The food at the buffet was plentiful, but bland, we expected more mexican food, which we love. Maybe mgmt is catering to the other guests taste. Overall we would rate dining as marginal. We purchased the all inclusive package and they don't skimp on the drinks, they were very good. Overall a nice vacation week for the price.
