Studio was a little small for 4 people but it was doable and it was clean. Fully stocked kitchen and plenty of towels. Along with a few beach accessories. Nice stay.

It had everything we needed. We would use this place again. Only issue, the hotel was busy at the time we were staying so the elevator was always full or us having to wait for the 2nd elevator - but really not bad - just impatient I guess.

Stay at Waikiki

Great condo unit and property manager. Not a huge fan of the busyness of the elevators but this is obviously out of their control. The free parking was awesome. Only place in Waikiki!

Overall good, but the communication need UN upgrade

The location is great, easy access to places. The room has not the best design and would need lots of upgrades. We arrived late at night and did a self check in, which was easy. But upon the arrival we noticed there was no extra blanket in the room and there was 3 of us, and only 1 large bed comforter. So that made it very challenging at midnight. In the morning an extra blanket was provided, but the night was tough! Also only 2 out of 4 stove elements are working. Overall communication with the property manager was not very smooth, it took usually few calls or few emails to get an answer. Otherwise once we connected, he was a very lovely man.

Amazing location close to the beach

We stayed at this property for our honeymoon, it was a great location, close to the beach and not to bad of walking distance to different restaurants. The space was very clean, check in was easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Ilikai Stay

For a local guy to return home and find a place that is affordable, great location, with cleanliness, great service and communication is very hard to find. This spot checked out in all categories. I was very happy and made going back home to Oahu very smooth. I would definitely recommend the stay here and will be back to rent from the in the future.

Super responsive host

The host made check in fast and efficient with clear instructions and was super responsive. The room was amazingly quiet, given it sits above a very busy street. Staff were friendly. Property is starting to show its age at 50 years old, but it was very clean and in a convenient location for our needs. Beach is lovely.

Great location

Great location as a hub to see Oahu. Location is walkable to Waikiki beach. Property is nice clean, staff are friendly. Only criticism would be the early closure of the pools(6 and 7 pm) esp the second floor one which has sun longer than the other one. The kitchen needs a new microwave (old and rusty inside) and some std prep items e.g. a paring and chopping knife, cutting board.

Somewhat over priced

The location was the better part of this rental. The unit itself needs updating and a deeper cleaning, to match the price. If price is not a concern, then it may be okay if you are out and about most of the days. Pros: - Friday night fireworks over the lagoon behind building. - Can watch a luau without paying price to enter and eat. - Right on Waikiki beach and lagoon for kids. (Although found much nicer beaches elsewhere on island within 20-30 minute drive). - Within walking distance of main tourist stores and eateries (some are a stretch for little legs). - Seemed to be a quiet unit, higher up for some views (none of water). - Easy code pad for entry and exit of unit. - Parking space if rent a car. - Two pools. Cons: - Only 4 each of silverware, dishes, bowls (I think there was actually only 3 of either the dishes or bowls). - Realized on second day that water from kitchen tap had a brown tint to it (drank from in water bottles first day - had not used a clear glass yet). Water seemed fine from bathroom sink. - Parking space is SMALL; had a Dodge Charger (smallest 4-door rental agency had) and when someone parked next to us it was an effort to squeeze into spot. Tried contacting property manager via text about possibly not getting into spot and received no response. - Within a few minutes of walking in bare feet, both of the bottoms of our feet were black. - The whole unit needs a deep cleaning. - The walls, trim, and all door types need updated. (Some doors would not open / close, some felt as if they would fall off). - We did not see any "local info" type items around, as we are provided in most rentals we go to. Such as local eats, shopping, activities, etc. - Property manager could pass this on to the resort management: The "adult" pool was warmer than bath water and quite dirty from all of the kids in it. Gritty (upstairs from beach level), felt like a layer of slime, cannot claim what all was floating in water. - For property manager and future renters fyi: We were thankful we had not planned on using a washer / dryer while there. Apparently there is only one (maybe two) of each on all floors, and only 3 floors of them were working while we were there. This was based on listening to many people on the elevators who were so upset because they could not get by without needing them. - Size of mattress is questionable, does not fill the entire bed frame. Also if you get cold easily, bring a blanket.

Enjoyed the Ilikai

Was great to stay in the Ilikai for the second time with all its great amenities (pool, ice cream, coffee shop, short walk to Waikiki). The unit was lovely, clean, bright and updated. Enjoyed the view of downtown, although the traffic was a little loud at times (didn’t affect our sleep at night, though). Would come back again!

Great location, seamless check in

Great location, easy access to the beach. Loved how seamless the check in process is. Last thing you want after a long flight is a hassle with checking in to a property. The unit itself was very clean and equipped well. Very comfortable property for my husband and I to explore Honolulu. Walking distance to pretty much everything which was great!! Would highly recommend!

We loved our time here! The location was great (walkable), the breakfast restaurant options downstairs were fantastic which made mornings really convenient. The room was clean & we loved the city view. We would definitely stay here again!

Very happy with suite and property. Short walking distance to the beach & lagoon. Pleasantly surprised that the parking pass to lower parking garage was in the room. I saved $210 + twice a day tips to the valet. Overall saving $230+ in unexpected parking costs that others in my group paid. I was the only person in my group (4 other rooms rented) that had this. Everyone else had to pay. Very nice surprise! (it may have been mentioned in the ad, but I don’t recall seeing it) Very happy with suite and property. If you are someone who likes to have your room cleaned, bed made and have the towels refreshed daily or every other day or so, I would stay at a hotel as opposed to this. I was also the only person in my group that had beach chairs, snorkeling gear, pool noodles, beach blanket and other water goodies that came with the room. (All in the front closet) We left behind a soft sided ice chest for the next visitor to use. A+++++ I would rent this room as opposed to others.

Great spot in Waikiki!

Had a great time staying in this unit at the Ilikai! Great location next to the Hilton (and lagoon!) close to Ala Moana. Easy to drive to location without getting into the super busy streets of the Waikiki strip, and the unit comes with a convenient parking spot underneath the building. The unit was very bright and airy, with a handy kitchen and comfortable bathroom. The bed and fold out couch worked great for our family of 4. Would definitely recommend this unit and would love to come back in the future!

Great stay

Loved how they had beach chairs, tubes, and many other beach equipment to have fun. Had to do valet parking for the first night because the parking pass was unavailable but the property manager gave a refund and it was seamless. Loved the stay there

The property was clean and accommodating. Great location. Washers for our floor not working. Parking spot very tight. We had mini van, very tight. Pipes above spot made it hard to lift back door. Over all enjoyed the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

The room was as described. Good Location and with underground parking space with the room was good. Obvious, some wear and tear due to heavy rental usage. Could have had more utensils and dishes especially if this was a longer stay and not leave container of paint underneath the sink. Did not have beach towels, upon notification of property manager, towels were delivered right away.

Great location and property

The property is conveniently located to shopping and restaurants in downtown Waikiki. The space itself had a nice view of the city and the space itself was clean and functional.
