This was my second stay at the Conrad - first with my wife. The hotel is a great five star. Rooms were very nicely appointed. Service from everyone was outstanding. Ours was a vacation trip. The location of the hotel is ideal. We could catch the MTR, buses, or ding dings close by (via shopping mall). The highlight for us was the Executive Lounge. It had expanded since my last visit, so while busy was never too crowded. The food at breakfast and happy hour varied and was good. Best part of the lounge is the staff. They got to know us (we were there for a week), were excited to hear about our day, and provided great suggestions. Ken in particular helped us with restaurant ideas. Definitely coming back to the Conrad when in HKG.
We stayed a couple of nights here after our cruise and as Hilton Diamond members were keen to see how they treated their most loyal members. Particularly as we had a very disappointing and dismal stay at Conrad Beijing. We were not disappointed. We were upgraded to a lovely room with great views and had very pleasant interactions with all members of their great staff. We sought the advice of concierge a couple of times and found them very helpful and a delight to deal with. They very readily agreed to store two of our suitcases while we made a trip to Macau. This is our first time using this particular hotel in Hong Kong as we usually stay in Kowloon but we will certainly return here as we had such a good experience. It’s nice to be recognised and rewarded for our brand loyalty. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.
My wife, 11-year-old daughter, and I stayed here for seven nights. I am a Hilton Diamond member and was upgraded to a beautiful suite with a corner view of Victoria Harbour. There was also chocolates, fruit, and a bottle of wine for us in the room when we arrived. There were little Conrad teddy bears for us on each of our pillows. It was my daughter's birthday week and she is allergic to tree nuts. When we arrived in the room, there was a birthday cake for her (that she could eat) with a candle. She was just speechless. Because of my daughter's allergies (tree nuts and shellfish), it is difficult for us to eat at regular Cantonese restaurants in Hong Kong since everything gets cross-contaminated. The Golden Leaf restaurant in the hotel accommodated her allergies and was by far the best meal we had in Hong Kong. The breakfast choices were plentiful and excellent. The Executive Lounge has a beautiful view of the Harbour. The service was excellent, the location is excellent, the view was excellent, what more can I say? I would definitely stay here again.
Business trip to HK. Arrived tired and dishevelled, prompt and courteous checkin. Everything was paid for by my company and there was no confusion or request for a credit card for incidentals. Corner suite made up of two separate areas was very nice, and despite the Conrad being one of the "grandes dames" of Hong Kong, felt fresh and reasonably up to date. This is not a modern minimalist hotel at all, but quite traditional, but well done nevertheless. Nice views from the higher floors (I was on 43) The upstairs executive lounge was decent enough for breakfast, though if you want a really full selection, better to go downstairs to the Garden Cafe. Linked directly to Pacific Place mall which makes life easy and offers a multitude of shopping and eating places. Room amenities, including wifi, plenty of water and tea/coffee making facilities were plentiful. Only complaint was that the rooms were cold - the temperature was moving around outside, it had got suddenly cooler and the hotel had to restart the heating system. That took a few hours to work its way round. Pool looked inviting but sadly no time .... Would definitely recommend for business.
The most iconic building in HK located in the heart of the city. The price and the quality is direct proportional. You can buy services and quality but the warm feeling from the staffs cannot be purchased. Best hotel in HK.
From the moment you arrive till the time you leave you are treated like royalty! The rooms have unbelievable views of the harbor and are immaculate. Then their staff is top notch, Ken and Buta are an example of friendliness and willingness to take care of you. You will definitely enjoy your stay and make sure and upgrade to the club level if possible. You won’t be sorry.
Wonderful location and ambiance. However, this hotel stands out for the wonderfully welcoming hospitality of their staff: front desk, door men, housekeepers, restaurant staff, etc. Truly world class hospitality.
I could not imagine staying at another hotel than the Conrad while in Hong Kong. They deliver 100%. The rooms are most comfortable and the beds simply the best. It is squeaky clean everywhere and the friendliest staff tries endlessly to please their guests. The location is extremely good as well, connected to Central and all other areas via MTR which is in easy walking distance via a fantastic shopping mall. Always love to go back!
I cannot get over waking up to that view of the mountains. Want to revisit Hong Kong just for this view. Check in was done in less than 5 mins. Central located, walked back one night from lan kwai fong. Also connected to the metro and to a mall where you could shop all the premier designer brands. Best place to stay when in hk.
There were a lot of good things about our stay but they were marred by a) very slow check in as there was a large group ahead of us and b) we had to wait over 40 minutes to get a lift down to the lobby when we were checking out. There was a conference on and all the lifts were full. Even the goods lifts were reserved for the conference. This is really not good enough in a 5 star hotel.
