This is a great family friendly location. The walk to the beach on the property is amazing! Lots to do because it’s cost comfortable with a bigger family. It isn’t so updated and bougie that it’s not friendly. Will rent again

Man at the gate

Everything about the unit itself was great. Over the last couple of years I have stayed at about 6 different units in The Spa. It is a nice complex, and I have always enjoyed it. This visit however, they have hired a new guy at the gate. He wouldn’t tell me his name. All I know is he is new, and is the only one with a ponytail. Whenever I would drive up to the gate, holding up my parking pass, he would walk up to my car and look through the windows and ask me stupid questions before opening the gate. I think he was doing that to others also, because several times there were cars backed up at the gate when I came back. He was rude and nosey. On one occasion, he dropped the “N” word while holding me up at the gate. Luckily my girlfriend was not in the car with me when he did that. (She is mixed race) I like The Spa, but I don’t know if I will be back there again if I have to deal with him. His attitude and language were unacceptable. He put a damper on an otherwise nice vacation.

First time at Hilton Head- fell in love!

The Spa on Port Royal Sound is located on the most incredible part of the beach. So much to explore. Our toddler and baby enjoyed playing in the tide pools, finding amazing seashells, and watching the neighborhood bald eagle on the beach! We loved spending the day at the beach and then cooling off at the outdoor pool. We will definitely be back! Great trip!

Stayed off season

This condo was clean but outdated. The beds need to be replaced, all of the were uncomfortable. One of the reasons we booked this was for the hot tub by the indoor pool, unfortunately the hot tub was out of order. Location was great, enjoyed walks on the beach!

Decent place to stay

Nicely appointed and met our needs very well. Close to the beach, although it was difficult to get to the water. It was weird that the door code expired 2 days early, but it was quickly taken care of. The only knock on the cleanliness was the big carpet stain in the 2nd bedroom, but we didn’t use the room, so it wasn’t a big deal. Would stay here again, it is a bargain for the price.

Great Easter Weekend In Hilton Head

The location of the room was perfect for our family. We could see one of the outdoor pools off of our balcony & steps out of our door on the other side was the building with the indoor pool & hot tub in it. The indoor pool and hot tub was great when it was raining for the kids to play in. We wish there was an outdoor hot tub. It was a short walk to the beach which was pretty much secluded. The beach was not very busy to walk on and pick shells but we never went in the water. When it was windy at the ocean the one pool area was not. There is 2 outdoor pools but we never hung out at the one closest to the ocean because it was too windy. The kids enjoyed seeing the cats around to facility and never bothered us. The security guards were very friendly which you had to check in at the entrance. This is not a resort. It’s more like a retirement facility. The office was never open while we were there. There is a tennis court & tennis rackets in the room’s closet to use but no tennis balls. By the pool area there was shuffleboard and cornhole toss game we used each day. Fun vacation!
