Issue with owners

To be honest, the rental was nice and we enjoyed our stay. The only issue was that the mattresses weren’t the best. After our stay though, I received a message from the owners letting us know that we would need to pay 100 for a missing parking pass. We were aware of this policy, but as best as I could remember, we did return the pass. I let the owners know that since I couldn’t verify that I’d left the pass, I would be willing to pay them a more reasonable 50. I said that 100 was asking a lot for a small plastic pass, and if their HOA insisted we pay that amount, I would be leaving a negative review of the HOA. The owner did not like that and responded that they would now be charging us for damages to the property. There was a faucet that worked fine, but was loose from the countertop. I let them know while we were there that it was like that when we arrived. No big deal for us. They now wanted us to pay to have that replaced. They also wanted us to pay for one of those inexpensive, small, and washable tablecloths that was already dirty then we got there, and extra cleaning fees. I was trying to come to a reasonable compromise about the missing pass, and I don’t think I’m wrong for disagreeing with the HOA . But for Stacy and Kristian to then make false claims about damages in order to get back at me crosses a line in my opinion and is indefensible. We were just trying to enjoy a nice family trip, and now we have to deal with this. Potential renters beware.

Relaxing visit after Helene aftermath

We live when Helene hit. So having this relaxing retreat with family the beach and everything we needed was so very nice. Especially having electricity 😊. We thought we would give a little back and added water and drinks to the fridge for the next guests. This is our 3rd or 4th stay and it has never disappointed. Thank you 😊

Family Road trip ~ Canada-->South Carolina

Our family (Dad, Mom, 9, 7 and 5yr old boys) LOVED our stay at Toes in the Sand on Hilton Head Island! The vibe that Kristian and Stacy have created in the condo is the perfect beachy feel⚓⛵ and seeing as we arrived right as Tropical Storm Debby hit the Island we ended up spending more time indoors than anticipated....but if we had to be inside watching the storm I'm very glad it was from there! The check in process was so smooth thanks to the amazing communication which continued throughout our stay. And they have literally thought of everythjng to give their guests the best experience possible...beach items, lists of ameneties close by, all the comforts of home. The location of Toes in the Sand is great! Super central, easy to walk to local shops, grocery store, restaurants and most importantly....the BEACH! The beach access is a quick 2 block walk and the soft, sandy beach is so beautiful. The water was warm and inviting....we would have spent so much time on the beach if the weather had of been better but I can definitely say the time we did spend there was amazing! And we all want to go back ASAP! Next time we would love to ride some bikes around the island🚲 If youre considering booking a stay at Toes in the Sand....dont hesitate! Book it. I can guarantee you wont regret it! 🥰

Enjoyable Stay

The condo fit the profile description. It was clean, filled with all the necessary amenities, and the accommodations were better than most hotels and some resorts. The showers were amazing, particularly the one with double shower heads. The beach accommodations are an additional nice touch. The space is comfortable and the pictures aligned with the condo's profile. The hosts were very accommodating and engaged. We would certainly stay here again.

Everything was more than excellent! Location was prime with not more than 5 minutes walk to the beach and stores and restaurants were just across the street. Apartment was very clean and had everything that you need for stay. The owner is very nice gentleman and the communication was so easy with him. Looking to come back next year!

We had an amazing trip to Hilton Head, the condo was perfect. It was walking distance to everything, shopping across the street, beach 2 blocks away, a park a few blocks away, and many restaurants. The beach equipment was so nice to have, it made for an easy trip to and from the beach. The condo was clean and had everything you need, including coffee, and candy. The whole place was decorated so nice and I especially liked the bathrooms. The owners checked in to make sure everything was ok and answered any questions we had promptly. We are already talking about going back!

Good stay

Location was great and place was clean. Only complaint would be the cable situation. There was 3 remotes and I didn’t really understand what was to what and once you turn the TV on it was not clear at all how to get to cable so it got to be frustrating when trying to put something on for the kids.

Great Condo and Location

Excellent stay and great location. The only complaint is noisy people above us stomping around until 1:30 am. Even with that, I would stay here again. Owners were very good with sending information and communicating.

No need to drive it’s all within walking distance!!

1st big plus we were notified we could check in early 👍🏼 Yay! The walk to the beach is about 5 min and 3 min to coligny plaza. Grocery, restaurants, shopping, pool and of course the beautiful beach all within a short walk. The condo itself was perfect for us (3) Adults. Nice, clean and well stocked with a lot of goodies. Mike was very friendly and easily able to be reached by phone for and questions or assistance. We definitely want to come back and enjoy our vacation here again. Thank you

Perfect stay by Coligny

This was such an awesome property. First, the condo is updated and has everything you need, and I mean everything!! It has two bedrooms and two full baths which the others in this complex only have one bath. It is decorated to the T. At 750 sq ft I was worried it would be tight but It had enough seating for all 4 of us and was spacious. It’s literally right across the street from Coligny Plaza! LOVE LOVE!!!

Enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our recent stay at this property. The unit itself was very clean and nicely renovated. All of the extras were thought of and available for us to use. Great location with the beach within a very close walking distance. We were a little disappointed about the unexpected outside building renovations taking place and being unable to use the balcony at all during our 5 night stay. This end corner unit was a bit loud at times with people walking up and down the outside entrance stairs and hallways.

Very Clean and Great location

We have never been to Hilton Head but decided to go for 4 days to break up our trip from Fl to NJ in March. Mike & Sue’s condo was perfect. First, it was very clean and was as depicted in the listing. It has cheery decorations and they are very thoughtful hosts with little things….like a jar of hersheys kisses, a shelf of books and games, notepads and pens to write stuff down…..a book with clear directions and suggestions. Communication was very quick between us, though luckily we didn’t have any issues to deal with. The condo is a quick 2 block walk to the beach and a stone’s throw to a shopping plaza that has just about anything you would need. We enjoyed our stay and give it a big thumbs up and 5 stars all around.
