It was close to airport and where I needed to go. Staff was not the friendliest when asked to see if able to check in early they were rude and said no right away since I hadn’t requested before hand and not aware since we couldn’t request thru Expedia when booking. Water damages to the room and right by the elevator was loud with people.

AC was making noise. There was open napkin package in the cafe cup. No sugar or cream packages at all. Bathroom and refrigerator doors, carpet were sticky. It is difficult to dispense body wash and shampoo from their bottles. Room door was not sealed properly. You can see the light in the hallway, and all the noise in the hallway was coming inside. The person who is preparing the breakfast was not smiley. Breakfast was nice. Sheets were clean. Receptionist was welcoming.

I really appreciated the value for such a very nice property. It was easy to get to the Giant Center in Hershey. Only disappointment was the late start (7:00am) of the breakfast on the weekend. We could not even enjoy it because of the time our conference started.

Bad and stinky room

Room smelled super musty, opened the window to air it out and there was no screen, when I turned on the heater it stunk like burning dryer lint and actually set off the smoke alarm for a cycle. The fridge stunk like rotten food and was so bad I actually just threw out my leftovers instead of putting them in it and I found a fingernail on the counter next to the sink. You get what you pay for, I guess. But the whole experience stunk.

Shabby; not worth the cost.

Black mold on ceiling of shower. Breakfast was visually unappealing and lacked variety. Orange Juice was very acidic and the apple was watery. The entire building looked shabby. The sidewalk in front of the hotel was taped off and there was road construction going on.

No thanks to La Quinta

Booked this hotel for my son to sleep. He was only passing through trying to get to Maine. Front desk had the nerve to not let him check in because “legal age is 21” had my son not knowing where to stay or do because of this policy they have in place. No where in the booking did it state age requirement. Took our business to Ramada, very pleased that Ramada did not give my son a hard time and was able to rest after driving from Texas. No thanks to La Quinta.
