The Chatteau has a private entrance on the top floor of the three story building with two queen bedrooms, a bath and a half and a jacuzzi tub for two. The floor below you, the Manoir, can be rented out too. You will be steps from access to the river and walking distance from the Bufford Beach Park with swimming, play, and picnic areas and a boat launch. Property is located within minutes of 'old town" Hardy, a step back in time, with antique and specialty shops, craft stores and gift nooks.

This charming French vacation property is situated on a wooded hillside with private balcony. Lose yourself in the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. This property is the perfect location for an intimate wedding, family vacation, reunion or retreat, to spend a honeymoon, anniversary or a romantic getaway, or the perfect base for fishing, canoeing, or rafting. Great location and clean. However, we had incorrect check in information and had to wait for the host to unlock the door to let us in. There was no remote or instructions for the fireplace. There was no cold water in the small bathroom. We also had no hot water for the shower or the hot tub. The hosts did come and attempt to fix the problem but were unsuccessful. If you drink coffee, bring your own. There is a coffee maker but no coffee. We were refunded 90 but that was less than 1/2 of what we paid for the evening. Left without a shower and disappointed.

It was the perfect surprise for my partner! The private balcony overlooking the falls is serene & perfect. Inside of the chateau is the perfect French country feel. Outside feels very New Orleans & we love it there! We’ll be back!
