Maintenance Needed
This house is in an amazing location, it is situated within walking distance of the beach and a general store for anything you may need, and the view of the lagoon is beautiful. Here are some things that were not so great. 1- the pool has no lights for nighttime swimming2- the pool was dirty and water cloudy the entire week. 3- the pump did not work properly to circulate the water, so sunscreen created a film on top of the water. 4- the dishwasher does not stop washing if opened during a cycle (no adding or removing a dish)5- no gate at the top of the steps on the lower deck. HUGE safety issue for small children. Had to use a baby gate, which my husband tripped and almost fell down the steps. 6- no blinds on the windows in the front so lacks privacy for those occupying those rooms. 7- the code for the door did not work when we arrived, had to call for a new one. 8- the door lock on the main door does not work properly as it only turns halfway when the code is entered, making it inconvenient to have to get upto let people in. 9- had 3 broken chairs on the porch when we arrived (this was addressed quickly)10- furniture on the lower porch was hard & uncomfortable to sit on. 11- landscape needs some up keep especially around the dock. Overall we had a great stay and would love to stay again if these issues are addressed. I saw reviews about the pool light and landscape from 2024 & 2023, but I assumed they would have been addressed before our stay in July 2025.
