Gulfsands Rentals offers you Crystal Tower Unit 1109 on Alabama's beautiful Gulf Coast. This highly desirable corner unit was completely remodeled in fall 2018. 2 full bedrooms, 2 baths, and a sofa sleeper provide accommodations for up to 6 guests comfortably. New sofa & recliner added Nov 2023! Unit will be COMPLETELY REPAINTED at the END OF APRIL 2025!

Perched on the 11th floor enjoy unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico from the Master Bedroom and Living Room. Incredible sunset views appear from enormous, westward facing windows in the Living and Dining areas. The views from the Guest Bedroom appear through floor to ceiling glass doors allowing the beauty of Little Lagoon to the North and West greet your eyes as you awake. Relax on two private balconies. Pick your view south, west, or north!

The interior welcomes you with custom crafted wainscoting in the entry and hallway area. New wood plank ceramic tile throughout the unit adds beauty and keeps the air free of issues related to musty carpets. An eye pleasing color palate was selected for the living area complimenting the new sleeper-sofa and recliner. Relax after a long day at the beach in front of the big-screen 65" UHD smart TV. Dish Network and local channels are available, or perhaps choose to watch a Blu-Ray DVD. The included Wi-Fi internet service is fast enough to allow the TV or your computer to stream your favorite media. A sound bar is available for use with the TV or stream music to it directly from your smart device using Bluetooth.

Modern stainless-steel appliances in the fully stocked kitchen alongside beautiful quartz countertops and remodeled cabinetry bring a feeling of luxury to the beach. Brew your favorite coffee in a convenient Keurig or Drip coffee maker and enjoy it viewing the Gulf at the table in the dining area.

At the end of the day retire to the primary or guest bedrooms. The primary now has a 55" smart TV. Each bedroom is equipped with its own UHD smart TV, Blu-Ray DVD player. Charge your smart device, listen to your playlist, or just see what time it is using one of the "Cubie Blue" devices provided at bedside. Both bedrooms have adjoining, newly remodeled, full bathrooms with chair-height toilets and hair dryers in each.

Amenities include a full-size washer and dryer in a separate laundry room, ironing board and iron, pack and play for the little ones, great water pressure, bountiful hot water for showers and clothes washing from the brand-new 55 gallon water heater, new shower heads, new plumbing fixtures throughout, great AC, bountiful storage for all your items in large bedroom closets, a pantry adjacent to the kitchen for all your groceries, 3 remote controlled ceiling fans, ample patio furniture for both balconies, trash chute adjacent to the elevators, a vacuum cleaner, and a few we probably forgot to list!

As Described and Great Sunrise and Sunset

Images are exactly what you get. Bright, Cheery home. Nice amenities offered, small indoor pool and larger outdoor pools. Code to get in pool from Beach. New Parking system is great. If you don't want to try to check in on your phone, there is a larger tablet at the entrance by the security person. Fully stocked Kitchen. Fun Puzzle, book exchange downstairs. Mop and broom available, but no cleaning spray. Dollar General is close for items that you need.

Would love to stay again!

One of my lifelong friends and her son went on a three day trip to Gulf Shores with my two kids and I. We chose this property because of the newly remodeled appearance/cleanliness, beach access, indoor and out door pools. I cannot say enough great things about the property. The location was stellar, the views were gorgeous, the facilities were well taken care of and convenient. The parking pass and facility arm bands were included in the price! They have carts and luggage carriers for hauling stuff to your room. The entire kitchen was well stocked, the AC was great, we had plenty of towels, the washer and dryer were a key part of our choice and they worked well. Honestly, I could not have been happier with this choice and would definitely stay again if that dates worked out and it met our needs for our next trip!

Beach time

The unit was great overall. Next time, will bring towels from home as towels provided were very thin. Shower in master bedroom, is high to step in and out. Bed was wonderful, however sheets wont stay on bed as its a thick mattress. When leaving you are to clean and put away dishes;however, someone just put their dirty away for next person.

Perfect for our family trip!

Loved this property! The decor was perfect. Access to the pool and beach was easy. Parking was never an issue and plenty of spots were always available. Great location with plenty of cool dining spots within a few minutes. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

I stayed here last week with my husband and our three children, our youngest is 11 months. We had plenty of room for the five of us. Great location to the pool/beach, no troubles with elevator time other than check in time on Sunday. Would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our second stay in this condo!

This was our second time staying in this condo. It was great. They let us know the sliding door to the balcony was broken and maintenance would be by to fix it but they never came all week. However there were two doors, so we errr able to use the balcony just fine. The pool rules had changed as far as not being able to have food. This was upsetting as it’s a long walk to the condo with kids and all the items. The pool security also hassled us multiple times while at the pool to see our bracelet even though she’d already asked and seen it. Other than that, our stay was delightful.

Summer Vacation

This place was great! We were impressed as soon as we walked through the door. It was beautifully decorated and all furniture was in great shape. The kitchen was stocked very well. The beds were amazing. We enjoyed both balconies a lot and the amazing views. The access to the pools and the beach was great. Check in was effortless, as there is now a door code instead of a physical key. We were sad to leave and hope to visit again!

The unit was perfect. It took us a while to find the building to pick up the key. I think the keypad would be a better way of entering rather than having to pick up and return and have to keep track of the key. I would definitely stay here again though.

Perfect Family Getaway

From check in to checkout, it was a breeze! Condo is just as described and pictured. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen fully stocked with all we needed to make meals, and our stay was amazing. We enjoyed having coffee every morning on the balcony, had plenty of room to spread out in in the living room, and took advantage of the beach toys provided by the owners. The owners also thoughtfully provided a “how to” manual for remotes and appliances. Loved having a big screen TV in the LR for those unwind moments we needed after days on the beach with 2 under 3. The only suggestion I have is that either provide more room keys or convert to a keyless entry system. Having to keep up with room keys and make sure someone had them was a minor inconvenience. Would definitely stay here again!

Physical keys annoying

Credit card couldn’t be charged through Vrbo. Had to call and pay over the phone. Annoying. Then had to get physical keys which was a pain. Then keeping up with who had keys and who had to get into the condo during our stay was nuisance. Wish there was a key pad on the door like every other door on our floor. Condo itself was clean and property was well kept as usual. Security was very stern about pool and parking passes. Only had 1 parking pass in my check in packet even though the rule sheet on the fridge claims 2 spots per condo. Had to pay $37 for a second one then had to go back to the office to pick up the pass which with all the road work is not an easy task.

This condo is beautiful! The sunset view from the balcony is breathtaking. My kids loved that they had their own balcony as well. They enjoyed the large tv in the living room at night after a king day. The condo had luggage carts and an ice machine on property which was nice. Parking was easy and accessible. The pool was awesome!! My kids loved the lazy river. The bed in the master was so comfortable that I slept better than I have in years (tempted to ask the brand of the mattress). The only suggestion I have is a smoother check in. Stopping elsewhere to get the key and then having to keep up with a key all week was inconvenient. I noticed many of the other doors had combination locks and that would have been nice. I was worried about losing a key at the beach. Then we had to return the key offsite when we left super early. Just a suggestion. We loved this condo and hopefully will be back!! Thanks for having us.

Crystal Tower is a great place to stay!

Overall it was a great condo. This is the second time staying at this specific Condo. It’s a great location and we love the pools. This time the condo itself didn’t feel as clean as 2 years ago. There were large stains on blankets and marks on sheets. There was also some pretty dirty doors in some of the rooms. My biggest issue was the sheets on the bed. They would not stay on. We would have to fix them in the middle of the night. They are just cheap hotel sheets and it would not work. Made it for an uncomfortable sleeping situation. Would this prevent me from staying here again? Probably not. It’s a great location and a huge unit with great views and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need.
