Great potential

Great location beautiful beach. Wonderful access to beach. Great size for large group. Upstairs king beds were very hard mattresses- downstairs king bed was acceptable but no ocean view. Several cooking pots had food residue.

Great location needing a little help

Over all…great location! The older duplex is needing a little maintenance. I’m a come home with clean clothes & pack light kind of person. Very disappointed that the washer was not working on top of having WiFi trouble as soon as we got there.

Great place to watch the waves and sunsets

We enjoyed our stay. It’s right on the beach and close enough to all the popular eats. Plenty of room for everyone in our group. The outdoor lounge seating could use some comfort upgrades, as well as the living room furniture. Overall a good value for money. My grandson rammed his head into the corner of the granite countertop d required an ER visit for a gash in his forehead, so we will always remember our visit here. :(

Great location, minor details to consider addressing

Location can’t be beat. Right on the beach. Away from crowded condos. House layout was great. Just minor details that would not take much time or effort to fix (eg: loose faucet fixtures in kitchen and bathroom, torn shower curtain liner, HVAC return vents caked in dust, bedroom ceiling fan mount loose and noisy). Overall we had a great experience!

Little get away

This place was wonderful! We really enjoyed ourselves! It’s a duplex which was awesome because the beach was not as crowded as some of the big condos have. We had great neighbors as well!! The layout gave each of us our own space! My husband and I had the room with a walk out porch to the beach… it was cool enough that at night we left the door open and heard the ocean waves as we slept! Pretty wonderful!! A few little things could be fixed (closer was broken to outside door, one of the metal chairs had a piece out of it, etc) but it did not effect the level of enjoyment during our trip what so ever! They had extra toilet paper set out for us, mini shampoos and conditioners, lots of appliances and we were thrilled to have a built in ice machine to keep our drinks cool the whole time!! Thanks so much for a great experience! -Butlers

Beautiful View and steps away from the water!

Property is all about location. Read the previous reviews about all the items not fixed...I.e. the stove, steps etc. Everything was working and could see some repairs had been made. Only thing I noticed right off was that the carpet needed to be cleaned or even removed would be probably better. Biggest complaint really was that the furniture could be updated on the balcony and additional seating provided that are comfortable! Other than a few rowdy folks coming in next door the day before we left it was quite and others are respectful. Do wish that the description included that this is a duplex. It is not the whole house you are getting to yourself, honestly that is what we thought we were getting when we rented it. Had we known it was a duplex, we would have chosen a different property. With all that being said, it was still a nice week, and overall it was decent.

Fantastic spot right on the beach

Was with a big group of friends and this place was absolutely ideal for us! Had a small mixup while checking in but it was resolved quickly and without a problem. The kitchen was well equipt and the grill was fantastic. The place was a short drive from the nearest shops and being directly on the beach was amazing. For the price, this place is a steal. If we come back to Gulf Shores we will seriously consider staying here.

The filth/dis-repair is indescribable, but I will give it a try

Let me start by saying, I grew up in Gulf Shores cleaning condos/beach houses for my parents rental company during the summers. I am not a stranger to preparing a beach rental property for guests. Shabby is acceptable but it HAS to be clean. I am appalled at the condition of this house and the money we paid to stay. The owners should be ashamed of themselves and the property management company (Vacasa) they hired to manage this property. A property assessment is needed immediately. The house was disgustingly dirty. Every piece of upholstered furniture needs replacing as well as bedspreads and pillows. Sheets had roach legs on them as well as a live roach in between the sheets of the master bedroom. Remnants of the past guests were visible all over the house (fruit gummi’s on the floor in one bedroom, a bird feather on the floor in the living room, pasta sauce splattered over the wall in the dining room and no telling what was under the couches). Half of the lights in the bedrooms don’t work. There were broken chairs that were a danger to our two year old, and you were hard pressed to get the upstairs hall shower to work without pulling the faucet off the wall. Upon arrival the kitchen faucet water had been turned off under the sink to hide the excessive running of the cold water. Maintenance had to be called immediately. Cookware, dishes were broken and dirty. Ice maker needs cleaning. Raised screws on the back deck. The carpet, especially in the living room is filthy. If you take these reviews seriously, then please take note and reach out for additional information. If you don’t then shame on you as well. On an end note, the view is as breathtaking as described and the HVAC and hot water heater were more than acceptable.
