Nice facilities, big condo nice stuff, but this condo needs to pay attention to details no serious problems that require maintenance messing up my vacation, toilet chain was broken, sink aerator broken, small things like no extra tp in bathrooms, coffee maker sucks, no filters, nothing to scream about but the difference in a good place and a great place is details, this condo is lacking, parts of grounds starting to show wear, if things continue this will be shabby in a few years

I have stayed here many times over the last 5 years and keep coming back. Very clean rooms, very nice property. Family friendly atmosphere. Never had any issues that could not be resolved quickly. Staff has always been very kind and helpful and always more than willing to go out their way. Kids loved the fact that if they wanted swim outside or swim insides. Would defiantly recommend staying here.

We are in C414, a 3 Br, 3 BA condo, which is very nice. My issues are with the kitchen and baths. In the kitchen there are no wooden spoons, sponges, skillets, cutting board, trivets, or cheese grater, and only a broken wine screw. Few and old pots. There are no coat hangers or hairdryers. Really? They give only one small bar of soap, one small bottle of shampoo and conditioner, and one roll of toilet paper per bath. Really? One garbage bag, one dishwasher pod, and one laundry detergent pod for 6 people for a week‘s stay. Really? Bring bottled water. Do not drink or cook with tap water. It tastes awful. Most of the crew members speak no English. Those are the negatives. The outdoor pools are too cold, but the indoor ones are nice. The property is dated and could use a new coat of paint.

We were invited to stay at a friends beautiful penthouse condo. The Bay views are spectacular. The Resort is very clean and well maintained with fabulous indoor and outdoor pools. Walking distance to beach or Resort shuttle is available for drop offs. Excellent restaurant in next door to Caribe.

We took a group of 9 and stayed for 5 days. We had a very nice condo with an incredible view. Overall the caribe is a very nice place for a family. There were parts of the resort that were closed for repair and that was frustrating. But overall the beaches are close by with shuttles and they are beautiful in March.

Our stay in DPH1 was from mid November 2017 – March 2018. Owner/Manager was easy to deal with and quick to return our calls. The unit is spacious with a large balcony for entertaining offering views of the gulf and the bay. Watched dolphins daily. Also Ospreys flying past within an arm’s length. The cook's kitchen is well stocked, however some of the pots and pans need replacing from previous renters misuse. Only one large fry pan was OK to use, but one is better than none. There is a Keurig and a slow-cooker. The oven has a convection setting. Washer and dryer are full size and there is a soaker tub plus room to hang clothes in the laundry area. Master bathroom is spacious and there is a large walk-in closet. Personally the chairs in the lounge area were uncomfortable. A recliner would be a nice addition. If you are staying for a long period consider renting a recliner. TVs all worked well. Internet is poor and we purchased a booster. During our long stay we noticed there were items that needed attention and the owner/manager was notified. There is an active social calendar during the winter months. The calendar is posted in the elevator. It states that If you are an owner or a Caribe Realty guest there is no charge. All others are charged $30 per person, monthly. On arrival in November, when it was still warm, the outside swimming pools were visibly dirty. They made a lame attempt to clean them with little improvement. There were areas of black visible on the bottom of the pools. It was not until the day before the owners meeting in February that they were cleaned. In fact there was a hive of cleaning activity the week prior! This was prior to a holiday weekend. Assigned parking is close to the entrance. The foyer is kept clean with ample carts to transport groceries etc. Elevators worked well. Tips for a long stay – bring meat thermometer, knife sharpener, kitchen scissors This condo gives ample space for a family. Yes it is a long walk to the beach, however there is a shuttle in the high season and it is also on call during the winter. I would have liked to give this condo five stars, however I give it four stars due to the uncomfortable chairs during our long stay. (A side note, and no fault of the owner. There were multiple false fire alarms - after #13, I stopped counting, when we were instructed to evacuate the building. These happened at all hours of the day and night. Sometimes twice a night. Caribe Management’s reply to my previous report stated that humidity and temperature changes were blamed, and that other condos in the area have the same problem. They said that only three alarms were an actual alarm because of burst pipes. The Fire Marshall would arrive and go directly to the control room on the ground floor in building D. I have stayed in other condos in this area during the winter and never experienced a problem. We have several friends who stayed over this winter in other condos in the area who had no problems. I also spoke to Caribe condo owners who were frustrated with the false alarms. There were times when we were told to evacuate the building and an all-clear was not given. Communication was poor. There is an engineering solution to the false alarm problem in the control room.)

We stayed at Caribe as a family with 4 adults and 5 children. Our room was perfect on the second floor overlooking the lazy river area. The rooms were roomy and the whole condo was spacious and luxurious. The kids loved all the pool options and it was convenient to everything in the area. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again.

Have stayed several times. Rooms are perfect. Every room has a view of ocean or the bay. Restaurant is next door and there are several restaurants nearby. Each building has a pool. Great place for families.

I loved our trip. Great family atmosphere. You can walk to the beach or take the golf cart trolley. You have tons of pools to choose from (though not enough chairs, so get there early to claim some), water slides, putting greens, tennis courts, basketball hoop, tons to do! And I liked being in Orange Beach, not as busy and congested as Gulf Shores on spring break. I just don’t think my family will go back again for spring break. The outdoor pools and lazy river were freezing cold and we all got splinters from the decking. My five year old son had no less than 20 of them in his feet, so he sure to wear your flip flops while walking up there. We did have an amazing condo, loved the view off the back towards the boats and inter coastal waters. It made for beautiful sunsets. We saw dolphins from our balcony too! Our condo needed some freshening up (room 1004. C building), like new couches. But besides that, it was great and slept 7 of us perfectly.

I’m here with a friend and our daughters, ages 9 & 11. The room we have is dated and needs to be refurbished. It has an early 90’s vibe to the furniture and decor. The condo is adequately stocked in the kitchen. I was however shocked to find not a single hair dryer in any of the 3 bathrooms. The couches and chairs are upholstered and have seen better days. There’s a huge balcony. It has a large dining set on it. We went to use it and found that the table was rusted out all over and the chairs were too dirty to sit on. They needed to be washed, they were dirty and moldy. The condo itself is roomy and comfortable. The resort it self is average. The workers aren’t too friendly. A guy was cleaning the elevators and acted put out that we got on. He made a face. Later we saw the same jerk and he was working near the pool. If I had my phone I would have snapped a picture of the guy’s butt crack since it was hanging out in the lobby. The girls thought that was funny because I told them to be careful since crack kills. The place is over run with preteens and teenagers. That’s all that was out at dusk in the hot tubs. It was loud at times because the kids were allowed to roam without parental presence. The big shocker was the TVs are old. They aren’t smart TVs. WiFi is slow, at times it couldn’t handle Facebook. My friend booked this place. She doesn’t like to complain. I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s too loud and just not that enjoyable to me. I just hope she didn’t pay to much for the stay.
