Great place to stay with family!!

Very spacious, could use a little cosmetic upgrades, beds were not as comfortable as we would have liked, perfect location for beach and the pool was a plus! Kitchen was stocked with the necessities for cooking. The elevator had a terrible smell the entire trip. No comforters in any rooms just light throws. Two balconies were a hit both with beach views. Jacuzzi didn’t work. Fridge wasn’t that cold. Ac was great in all the rooms except the master bedroom it was warm the entire time but thankfully they had a fan in one of the closets that helped a little

Very outdated property

Place was clean. Decent views. But overall the unit needed updates. The refrigerator was not working properly upon arrival. Spoke to agents who told us to turn it down, then up slowly. Never cooled down so had to buy a large cooler and ice for the whole week. Not convenient when there’s 7 people staying there for an entire week. Owners had been notified that the refrigerator needed replaced however they did not do it. When you spend that kind of money for vacation, you expect appliances to be in working order. I would be very cautious to rent this unit. There are much better places in Gulf Shores to stay.

The condo was not clean, the refrigerator/Frezzer did not work. The owners did the minimum to accommodate us. The beds were hard AF. The view is beautiful tho 😍

Tried checking in early, called because code wouldnt work, talked to a lady and all she could say is checkin was at 4 pm. Girlfriend called back and spoke with someone and he reset code. Cleanliness was not very good but other than that it was ok

Do not stay in this condo! We arrived late and couldn't do roaches! We slept in the car!!!!

The place was NOT what the pictures portrayed or maybe it was. I just didn't look closely. We have been back since and I refuse to do VRBO or VACASA! I went to VRBO under VACASA. We are a family that is COVID conscience and wipe and spray stuff down in hotels we stay or in this case this condo. I was not happy with the place, the smell, the roaches everywhere. Each time we moved something they were moving everywhere. I was told after reporting that it is common for palmetto’s in Florida. Got it, we have been there. I cleaned the kitchen as much as I could, but when I opened the cabinets and saw the little home owners, we left and slept in the car as I reached out to the POC, no answer. She did tell me the next morning she was not on the clock and was doing me a favor by returning my call or text messages. The place was dingy and infested, there is a difference. I really tried to work with the local reps. I asked them to place me in another condo and was told no avail. One told me she would get the cleaning crew and the exterminator in that morning. . After no sleep, I refused to stay as that effort should have been done prior to my arrival. I finally told them I was leaving and one rep called me back and told me she would refund me my money with the exception of night. Mind you, we didn't sleep there. Please do not stay there! On a good note, I went to a local rep and she put me in a great condo not under VACASA or VRBO!

Not what I expected

The condo picture presented on the VRBO site made it look very nice. When we arrived we were shocked to the repairs and updates that need to be done to the actual condo. The cleaning staff has not been doing a thorough cleaning. There was hair in the floor, someone had dropped medicine on the floor and it was never swept up. There was something black on the bed coverings. We slept on top of the sheets until we could wash the coverings ourselves. Water stains on the ceilings and mold on bathroom ceilings due to lack of exhaust fans. Holes in wall several places, kitchen cabinets without trim and trash from who knows how long under. If you took off your shoes, your feet were black quickly. Stains on walls and furniture. Wall art that has pieces missing, looking like it had been damaged for sometime. It was clear the walls hadn't been scrubbed in a long time, and the curtains not cleaned. With all this negative I will state that when I let the Vacasa know about the cleaning status they were quick to respond. They asked if I wanted a crew to come and clean; I said NO I have cleaned all that would come off walls and counters. I did appreciate the offer. I would not stay at this facility again, and I would suggest that folks make sure to ask if the property has been repaired.
