Great place to stay

Having the pool to ourselves all week was amazing. Used the outdoor sitting area and the grill several nights but the pool was daily.

The stay was unsatisfactory. On the plus side, when we arrived, the house was clean, and everything appeared to be in order. One of the television remotes was missing The issues began on Tuesday. The Kitchen sink failed. We waited all day (no family activities that day) for the plumber who showed up after he got off work. On Wednesday, the refrigerator failed. We lost almost all of our refrigerated food. We waited all day (no family activities that day either) for the appliance repair person. The refrigerator could not be repaired that day. The homeowner delivered a new refrigerator that evening and stayed late to install it but it was too late to save about 700.00 in food, and we had to eat out that night – with a family of 10 (we got fast food for around 100.00). On some side notes – be aware that the mosquitoes are HORRIBLE! The more important issue is the pool coating – it has deteriorated and is also so abrasive that it tore up everyone's feet who swam for any length of time. Another thing to consider is that there is no handrail going down the steps. Also, note that the shallow area is extremely limited, so if children need to play in the shallow part of the pool, it’s probably too small for that. It is convenient for local shopping and groceries, but not the beach. The neighborhood is a typical rental home/apartment neighborhood - not necessarily a vacation rental neighborhood. The owners stated they would make it right for us at the end but did not. Risky stay!

Very pleased

The property was very nice and clean we truly enjoyed our stay there. The kids loved the pool. And the host was so nice and always responded to ever message in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend this home.

Family vacation fun

This is an amazing place to stay, loved every second of it. The house was so clean, crisp and refreshing I wish I could stay forever... Evrything you need is there, pots pans, salt pepper even toys for the pool and chairs for the beach. We will be back again soon...

Early Christmas gift

The owners were amazing! Everything is super easy to find! The pool is awesome! It’s really close to the grocery store and the beach! We have 9 people so having the grocery store 4 miles away was great!! The house is perfect for families or a couple who would want extra space. They have everything you can think of for you which minimizes packing!! Definitely will be checking out the other properties they have as well!!

Private quiet stay

There is a lovely park just a block away. We enjoyed family walks to the park in this quiet little neighborhood. A little monger drive to the beach than we are used too, but well worth it to have a nice family friendly neighborhood to stay in!

Keep Your Eyes Open

House was clean and comfy (at first). The property manager messaged me right away after booking and kept in touch up until the last day after I woke up to a roach on my face (this one being the third one during our 5 night stay). At this point she offered to buy my group dinner for the inconvenience. Yes, you read that correctly. At which time I said a full refund would be great, but wouldn't even begin to cover the cost of exterminators if I bring the festation home with me. She ignored these messages, and sent a refund of 25%. Apparently finding 3 roaches during our stay earns you a whooping 25% off. This was my first vrbo experience and it will be my last. Unfortunately this review will probably not be public because this owners know about this problem and choose to allow people to stay in their home anyway. I feel sorry for visitors with children with health issues who are at even higher risk with these disgusting bugs. We were afraid to eat here, we had to check our beds and blankets before laying down for the evening, and I still woke up to a roach ON MY FACE. We were uncomfortable from the very first morning when we killed the first roach. The owner claims to get the property treated bi-monthly which may be true but obviously isn't effective. And proceeded to say that we wouldn't need to worry about taking them home because they aren't the type that eat the food in the kitchen ! Whatttt!?! The very little time we spend indoors, or even in Gulf Breeze was with us watching every step we took and being afraid to turn every corner or open any drawer because of the infestation on this property.
