nice staff good value for $

It was a basic, clean room, and the price reflects this.

Room service provided only on the first day of a 5 day stay. Refrigerator needed defrosting badly. Orbitz really needs to give a partial rebate to us. Staff advises not to use Orbitz or other we sites-they will give a better price if you just call the hotel directly.

Staff very friendly, room was clean, breakfast was adequate, near the highway - all basic needs were well met!

We had a last minute chance to get away and headed for the coast. We try to stay at choice hotels because Independent motels often just don't keep their rooms up. Econo of course is the least expensive and has the least amenities. The room was very comfortable as was the bed. Clean bright white sheets no signs of little critters. The only down side to the room was the color combo from the 90's but no big deal. You want a room to sleep in and friendly staff to talk to this is the place. Lots of children to entertain move on to Great Woods.

My wife and I stayed here during Irene. The place was nice, and the staff very friendly and helpful. During the storm, our room became water damaged (water coming in through the window, air conditioning unit, and finally the ceiling), and the staff was able to move us to a different room when the ceiling sprang a leak over the bed. The only complaint I do have is they did close breakfast 'right' at 9am, turning off units such as the juice machine, not supplying bagels, etc, when there were some of us still waiting on waffles. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay, considering we were in the middle of a hurricane.

Hotel staff was very gracious and recommended places to dine while there however the place she recommended had horrible service but this was not her fault.

Thought the room would be a lot nicer than it was. it was the 4th different motel in 4 nights, by far the most expensive ,but by far the least desirable.
