Cleanliness, friendly staff.
I like the convenience of the hotel, it’s near stores and the downtown area. The room that we stayed in needs updating and minor renovations. The only thing I didn’t like is the double bathroom doors. You’re not able to lock it. Family member’s could walk in. Also, La Quinta started to charge for pets. It used to be free. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay there.
Showers would not keep temp,tub had a ring around it
They did not have the room I reserved, would not adjust my room rate accordingly, suggested that I go to the Hilton across the street, said I could get a refund, so I went to the Hilton.
Room was extremely dirty. I had to ask for new sheets because their was hair all over them. When I had called I was told I had to come downstairs and get what sheets were left clean. Luckily they had enough. The room was dirty and facility and the hallway smelled of pot and dog poop. Will not come back.
This hotel could be a good, basic hotel. Not special but not terrible BUT the entrance to the hotel, the parking lot and the green space around the hotel were littered with garbage. It would not be difficult to go through, do a thorough cleaning and then make a point of keeping the area clean on a daily basis. I appreciate that this was a pet-friendly hotel but there was green space where no one had picked up after their animals. I know the owners should do it, but if they don't, someone needs to. The reception desk personnel were very good and I appreciated that they seemed to care about the details of our stay. While I didn't eat it, the breakfast also appeared to be fine. However, I will not stay at a La Quinta again if I have other alternatives.

I’m one of the people used to live in Greenville SC ,and I was amazed how the city changed but the Hotel still the same never updated, hopefully with the new ownership by Wyndham see changes,still there is no USB charger in the room and that’s one thing
It’s pet friendly which is nice, but the property is littered with evidence of that. Maybe they clean it up in the summer when it’s not so cold, but it was gross trying to walk my dog and jump over the evidence left by other dogs. Coffee and hot water are available all day which is nice. Breakfast is grab n go but unmonitored. I saw guests grabbing bags of food (despite the signage saying you shouldn’t take more than one item per guest$ and it’s not refilled throughout the morning, so get down there early I guess. We stayed in the 1 bedroom king suite and everything was clean, 2 TVs worked perfectly, lights were weirdly wired and would turn on and off randomly, mini fridge was MINI with no “freezer” component so keep that in mind for longer stays. And the couch was gross and needed to be replaced. We brought a blanket from home and placed it over the couch just in case and thankful we did since it was really worn. Keys didn’t always work and had to be replaced 3 times during a 3-night stay. The front desk agent said it was due to the cold (they didn’t work on one of the outside door) and said maintenance would fix it the next day. The next day we had the same issue. It was a small annoyance but there are bigger problems in life than being slightly inconvenienced by an inoperable door :) overall the stay was fine and I would definitely stay again.

Staff was great, but pet policy needs to be reviewed. I had to change to another room first thing in the morning because theres was a dog in another room and was barking all night long
The room we’ve stayed at was a large space. Housekeeping did not clean the room, the bedding are not made or there is no restocking towels due to COVID restrictions. The breakfast is grab and go. The plus thing is dogs are welcome!
Pets are welcome, which is awesome! The room that we stayed at is very roomy and clean. The staff are friendly.
