Luxurious Getaway

Beautiful views of Green Lake. 2 nice restaurants, one a casual bar on the water serving lunch and dinner. The other a upscale restaurant ber and breakfast. Coffee lounge was very nice. Our room was spacious with frig and microwave. Indoor pool and hottub was inviting. We want to return in summer to use the outdoor pool. Cute boutique shop too. Relaxing weekend getaway!

We haven’t stayed at the Heidel House since they renovated. Wow, big changes! The lobby, the restaurant and the rooms have all been updated. Our room was so quiet and comfortable. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good. I have only two suggestions. One, most people check out and then want to get breakfast before hitting the road. We were surprised to walk up and be told they were done serving. The second suggestion is in regard to the bathroom. The shower is very slippery and the shampoo and soap products are very difficult to dispense. Lori at the front desk was very pleasant, our waitress at the restaurant was great, as well as the bartender at Waves.

Attended the New Years Celebration. Excellent!!! Everything was top notch from the staff to the food to the room, the band, the DJ, the photo booth. Being an ex-military pilot it was impressive to see everything done perfectly on time, with extreme attention to detail. Definitely a Five Star experience. This was a wonderful time to get to the Heidel House. It was decorated wonderfully for Christmas. The fire place in the lobby was a nice touch and the outdoor fire was wonderful as well. The lake view from our room was beautiful with the lake fog rising off the warm waters. Very pleasant stay.
