There were ants in the room that had to be cleaned up. There was black stuff coming out of the shower when my daughter took a shower. The coffee pot in the room was missing parts so it was unusable.

Decent location, was clean and good pricing.
Breakfast was packaged muffins or cereal and coffee only. Toilet kept running. Heater was exceptionally loud even at lowest level. Card reader on outside door around back was wobbly and difficult to use. Not a very secure feeling.
The place was very clean, plus the staff were friendly and very helpful with your needs did everything they could to make your stay great,
When we arrived our room was a disaster, and our keys stopped working after they switched us rooms for the second day of our stay.

Very nice staff!!! Orbitz website indicated cribs available - that is really not the case here, but they did find a pack-n-play for us to use.

TV had fixed news(fox) no MSNBC. Cons in control. Otherwise good experience.
The people I interacted with were really nice, from the desk people, Sunshine and the other new person. (I wrote her name down but lost it. To the gals prepping breakfast. The only glitch was that my reservation was inadvertently cancelled but they found it within a few minutes. They give you doggie treats and "bags" for when you walk your dog which was really nice. Indoor pool was nice enough, heated dome and a hot Jacuzzi. The pool water was slightly heated but no hotter or colder than most pools. the grounds were nothing spectacular since this is a utilitarian hotel for airport access, but there was enough grass to walk our dog. The hot breakfast was really good! Waffles, sausage, cheese omelette, a line up of bread, muffins, etc, cereal, milk, and coffee of course! Walls are a little thin as we could hear the guests next door talking.
Staff was friendly, hotel hallways were dirty, killed several bugs in my room. Room itself was clean, bed was comfortable though pillows were horrible. Doors need adjusting so they do not slam on their own - I was given a room next to an exit so smokers were constantly in and out, so doors were slamming loudly well after 3am. Hot tub was freezing, hours after check in that was finally corrected. Far too many unsupervised kids in and out of pool and hot tub while parents drank poolside - obviously not the hotels fault just enough to ensure I won’t be returning. Room was the best rate I found in the Grand Rapids area - next time I’ll remember you get what you pay for
Room was nice. Hotel hallway carpet was dirty but other than that a comfortable stay. Comfy mattress and affordable. Nothing special but we would stay here again for the price.
