This property has a lot of potential but really needs someone to check the apartments regularly for condition / maintenance.
Numa is well located, close to all of the major sites, easily walkable to Alhambra (15 minutes to the Puerta de Granada, up through the park and you arrive at the front entrance) and there are lots of restaurants nearby.
The first room we stayed in (1 bed with terrace) was spacious and had a fantastic view of the Cathedral. Unfortunately all of the building’s HVAC units are installed just outside the bedroom window and it sounds like someone is mowing the lawn - non-stop, all night.
We contacted Numa to request a room change and the first person we spoke with said there are no other rooms of the same category available and suggested earplugs. It was late so we decided to try sleeping on the pull-out couch on the living room - this was terrible for our backs and not a sustainable solution for 5 nights.
At 5am I reached out again and this customer service agent was far more helpful and offered a different room without terrace one floor down. We accepted the change and our room rate was adjusted accordingly. Phew!
The second room was slightly smaller but much quieter. The only issue we had was a sewer odor that percolated through the apartment. During the day we would leave the windows open to air things out but as soon as they were shut the strong smell returned. We were unable to pinpoint the issue (tried running and not running the heat)
