The place needs work. Our room had a damaged sink drain but the shower was great. There's some drywall damage in our room at the entry door and behind the bathroom door.

The man who checked us in was very kind and knowledgeable. Clean bathroom and soft bed, which is the only thing I usually look for in a hotel.

The room was spacious and well laid out. However, I was unaware of a $150 deposit at check-in after booking and paying for the room. Also, the room had not been vacuumed or dusted. The next morning we wanted to have their breakfast special but they didn't have any cooks so after letting managers know of the situation, the gave us $15 each to by deli sandwich that were overpriced $7 and already prepackaged. The location is a few blocks from Central City (going up hill) and only one tram was available on the half hour. This was not a reflection of the hotel but does impact your getting around. So I would not recommend staying here.

Room was sufficient in every way according to the price paid. Beware of the $25 “Service Fee” per night which is not disclosed until check-in. So effectively your going to pay $25 more than what you buy online. Nothing appeared open in the AM if you’re an early riser, so if you like coffee in the AM…Nada.

Older establishment but amazing property! Love, the fact we could take our dog on the gaming floor if we wanted to! Our room was comfortable, quiet, and really clean!

The staff was overly hospitable, kind, generous, and friendly. They let us stay an hour longer and charged our iPhone when we lost our cord. The Casino is spotless and huge, with free coffee day and night. The room was beautiful as well.

Grand Z is on my A-list

Grand Z has an excellent room rate and is the best discounted room for people that don't use comps. Very clean through n through. The beds are very clean and very comfortable. The room was spotless and the bathroom was clean with zero complaints. A lot of lighting if you need it in the room. Grand Z hotel is affordable and its an easy check-in & check out process.

One bed was lumpy, the other was okay- lvf,flooring would be a big improvement as the carpet is sticky in patches in the bedroom and corners in the bathroom need cleaning. The furniture is chipped. The air conditioning was good.
