Nice people. Good location good food. Nice people

We really liked this hotel. It was clean and had great views. The paint was peeling off of the balcony wall, but they were power washing the hotel to get ready to paint the outside and balconies. The hill is too steep to walk to & from the strip, but a trolley comes to the hotel every 30 minutes, depending on traffic. It was very convenient.

My son had stayed her a few times in the past 4 yrs. And loved staying here. Mostly for the indoor pool. Second day no heat in pool. Next day was fine. We do understand that these things happen. I have stayed many places around the area for many years. I was not happy when I made calls to the hotel at least 3 times ahead of time. All three had negative responses. 1st call, wanted to get rooms beside each other. Informed that we could not," Because of the rooms I had booked through a 3rd party." 2nd call, asked to book 1 extra night. Told I couldn't get the same price would have to go back through who I made reservation with. 3rd time called about 1:00 on a very rainy day to see if we could check in early(had 4 young kids in our party) told not before 4:00. I called again a little later, they said our rooms where ready and we could check in this 1 time early! When we checked in. I was asked, if we wanted rooms Together? I said, yes please that would be great! When we got to our rooms. We where not beside each other. Why bother asking me that question! Worked out fine as we where. Not happy on check out that we couldn't get a cart to load up with. Had to make many trips to get everything down to lobby.

Very comfortable stay and very close to all the attractions, and very easy to go to and from the hotel.

rain was no draining off the balcony outside and flooded the carpet in the room the morning of checkout, blood on the sheet, walls and closet door dirty. was promised 20% off on a promo before checking in, hotel suddenly had no clue what i was talking about.

We've stayed here several times now and every time we love it. The staff is so friendly! The restaurant and bar is awesome. The amenities are awesome. Oh, and the mountain views are beautiful! We love that we can take the trolley to downtown and never have to walk. Though, we did make that mistake this past trip and that walk back up to the hotel is quite strenuous. :) I highly recommend the Double Tree at Park Vista.

This was the first time we have stayed here. It was a great experience, the staff was very nice and friendly. The Lobby was very nice and clean. The rooms where clean and comfortable with a great view. My grandchildren really enjoyed the elevators.

Loved the view from our balcony Staff was friendly and helpful Would stay here again

We decided to book this room at the last minute because we weren't sure when we would get there. I saw the price of $100 for a king room. Booked. In retrospect, I would have looked else where. The hotel itself is far from the main drag, which was good & bad. Once in our room, the room had a great view on the 11th floor. The AC was extremely loud & not very effective at cooling the room. All the rooms have great sized balconies, which was great. BUT wind whistled alllllll night, and the AC wasnt able to drown it out. Alsi our door opened the other way and let tons of light in a night. No extra lock on the other. Wifi: Terrible. I had one bar in our room. I didn't want to use all my data, but it was quicker to use my phone. You are also only give a single 24 hour pass, no matter how long you stay. Bathroom: For some odd reason, it had low ceilings which was fine. Just odd & outdated. The faucet knob for cold water on the sink was broke, so it could be turned in a 360 without stopping. Food: Since it is a Hilton, everything will cost you extra. No free breakfast. Not even doughnuts or juice. Bed: Comfy. This was the only positive about this place. Overall, I would not stay here again. I expected more class from a Hilton. It's just a cheaper hotel that paid to get the Hilton name.

It's a nice hotel and way up in the mountains but we were hoping to walk downtown considering it said it was within walking distance. What they don't say is there is no trail to lead down the road just the road you drive to get up the mountain which is very steep and curvy. The hotel was also under maintence, so we had the pleasure of waking up every morning to hammering and trucks every where. When we got to first room the bed was dirty and still had soap in the bath tub which made us assume it had not been clean. Its not an awful hotel I just would rather stay in the heart of downtown and save myself 6 to 8 bucks parking everyday or not have to wait for a trolley every 30 mins

We stayed here on a busy fall weekend. The facility is beautiful, but the staff didn't have their act together. This is understandable given that most places in town were booked up solid, but there was confusion about several things each of which took time at the front desk. It wasn't a disaster or anything but the quality of service did not match the price.

Just a little ways from the riff raff on main drag too far to walk but kind of nice that way - and lots of shuttles. An aging beauty with a pool that kids like with slide, etc. and a bar for parents :). Most impressive feature were the views of the mountains from the balcony. Very nice spot and would stay again if in the area.

We paid for a mountain view balcony room, however where our room was located it was just a view of the parking lot and maintenance building etc.

It was a great girl's weekend trip with one of my daughters and one of my granddaughters. We shopped, ate at Paula Deen's new restaurant ,the Old Mill restaurant, and of course The Apple Barn restaurant. We also went to the Dixie Stampede, which was fantastic, and Über Gatlinburg. We had a great time! The hotel was very nice and clean. All the staff was very pleasant and extremely helpful!! Can't wait to go back!!

The hotel is not within walking distance to the main strip. We stood in line to eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant and waited for over 45 minutes, while there were several empty tables. When we were seated, most of the food was empty on the buffet. The parking lot is very dark at night and was scary to walk to the car. The hotel is very nice but I would never pay to stay there again.

The hotel pool and restaurant are worth booking a night or two. It is priced above many other resorts in the area, which offer better locations. The view from the first floor rooms were fine, but watch out for light from the parking lot security lights at night.

excellent place. good location and food very good. convenient to the gatlinburg area

Hotel was very nice, everyone very friendly. Will be back again.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The food was great and the hotel was close to everything including the aquarium. I would stay here again. It was a wonderful short weekend getaway.

Me and my husband stay here every trip and we are never disappointed. Lovely views and wonderful hotel. Air conditioners could use some upgrading but other than that it is a great place to spend a vacation.
