The property was very clean, kitchen amenities were all great, we had everything we needed to cook. We enjoyed the view from the balcony and liked the setting of the hot tub area. We didn’t use the pool, but noticed it seemed clean and had population every day. On 4 different occasions we saw black bear within 50 yards of the cabin! We liked that part, and are smart enough to stay/go inside if we see one. The parking is good and the space you need for dogs to use the bathroom is plenty spacious! Also, sorry about the single pile of poop that was left, it was a bears!

Fantastic modern cabin.

The cabin is gorgeous and very modern. The upstairs game room was a ton of fun. We had 3 dogs with us and the owners had no issues. Very close to downtown Gatlinburg. Amazing experience.

Overall a very nice cabin but due to a power outage my husband, family friend and I had to spend 2 nights in a motel in Pigeon Forge and had to throw out a large amount of food. The owner of the cabin offered an additional day at a reduced price to compensate us for the i cinve ience

Cozy cabin close to everything

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Bear Haven! Kids enjoyed the games and hot tub. Convenient to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Thank you, Andrew for hosting us.

Perfect gem!

First off, property was close to downtown gatlinburg but far enough so it was quiet. The property is located in a resort community that can be a little difficult to find the cabin, but once you do, it’s easy! Community is quaint, clean…nothing but a bunch of cool cabins on a mountainside. Cabin itself was clean, had everything we needed and then some! Game room in the loft was lovely-perfect place to send the kids! Views were gorgeous! And while we see bears all the time back home in our hometown in FL, Bear Haven had all the cabin charm in a delightful package! Only comment I could say is the cabin is a legit cabin where it creaks and you can hear those family members you banished to the upstairs when you’re downstairs. Just turn up the TV or go sit on the porch, this place is Totally worth it!

Bear Haven delivered!

Bear Haven seemed to be right in the path of a bear trail, we saw a bear every day! They were calm and uninterested in us, so it was neat to experience. The cabin was nice and the hosts accommodated all of our needs!

Bear sightings!

It’s not easy to remember all of the experiences of our stay since it was months ago and the opportunity to leave a review was just received. We had adequate room for my husband, myself our daughter, son in law and their children. It was pet friendly which was wonderful since our golden doodle could come along. The cabin definitely needs some upgrades but none that hindered our stay. We replaced the air filter in the return which had not been replaced in some time. This is probably a property management task that was overlooked. Hard to hold the owner responsible for that. We did get to see lots of bear. They were right beside the cabin on several days of our stay! That always makes the trip a lot of fun! Overall we enjoyed time with family and our grandchildren.
