Spring break

We enjoyed the house 🏠 during our stay. We used the kitchen for most of our meals during our stay. It would have been helpful to have more than 1 garbage bag in the garbage. A lock on the outdoor garbage is needed to keep the bears out. The house was a nice place to stay for our vacation.

What a Mess

This property had MULTIPLE maintenance concerns. Spent all day with a technician in the unit with us after being on the phone hours insisting they send someone and nothing was resolved- The following was not working: Keypad Front Door, Fireplace Bedroom 1, Jetted Tub Bedroom 1, Entire Theater Room, TV above Pool Table, Had to change batteries in all remotes/taped together, Upstairs Bedroom Door Locked if Closed and Husband Could Not Get Out (Had to slide a tool under the door to get him out) Poor Communication with Property Manager, Stained Carpets, Murphy Bed Theater Room Busted with Mattress in the Floor- Great Location and Potential to be Very Pretty- However, Not At This Time- Really Consider this Booking-

Secluded & Quiet

Beautiful cabin. It has everything you need. I loved how secluded it was and especially how quiet it was. My only complaint is the 3rd floor where the pool table is and where you exit to the hot tub smells musty. It was obvious that the smell was from people entering the house while wet after being in the hot tub and then climbing the stairs and getting the carpet wet. I would definitely recommend to the property managers removing the carpet on the stairs for this reason. I absolutely love the huge bath tubs in the 2 bedrooms. It was just my husband and I got a weekend getaway so we only used the copper tub, but it was lovely. I loved being able to watch tv and take a relaxing bath at the same time!

My family and i really enjoyed our stay. It was a great beautiful cabin overall. The view was beautiful with more than plenty of room for everyone. The bathroom in the upstairs was gorgeous like in a catalog. I'd definitely would cone back and recommend it to everyone. The only thing is be careful getting there. The roads are somewhat small and winding

Stressful

Stayed on the phone for three days trying to get things fixed in the cabin, I rented this cabin because of the handicap access chair for downstairs, I was traveling with two 85 year old handicap seniors and needed that chair lift, could not get it to operate until the very last day of our stay, no one showed up for repairs until the last day and only completed one of the repair issues, the bedding was soiled in down stair beds, beautiful cabin, horrible management of it, very stressful stay, I would love a chat with the property owners

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION

I loved the location, close to everything, but felt like we were far away! I loved how high it was, yet the roads were paved and so easy to get to. Beautiful home, one of the best I have stayed at so far on my many trips to Smoky Mountains.

Cleanliness

Checked in on a Friday when they said the house had been “cleaned”. Very disappointed in the cleaning job but the cleaning people had the audacity to leave a note on ways to “tip” them. There was a blood stain on the drive way, a condom wrapped next to the bath tub in the master and the floor was sticky from what seemed to be spilt drinks. I read many bad reviews but was willing to give the property a chance and I was just as disappointed as every other review! Beautiful house, just not well taken care of.

Absolutely gorgeous home with great location, build to host multiple pleople. My only complaint is that the showers, appliances, windows and blinds need to be cleaned throughly. Cleaning people are not doing a great job with that.

Terrible communication and not clean.

Poor/ no communication and customer service from the Management company. We own and self manage two vacation rentals in Destin FL and would be sick if We had a guest that had the experience we had. Called 2hrs after check in to report two issues, 1- None of the TVs worked. 2- One smoke detector was broken and missing the cover and the battery. I was told someone from the local “Team” would call me back shortly and resolve my issues. The next day I received a text asking if I still need help and I responded “YES”. Four days later no one called or reached out. The worst was the main level bath shower. Literally had mold/ mildew buildup in three or the four corners. It’s obvious this has not been cleaned in weeks. Dead bugs on window sills and dirty windows were everywhere. I took pics and will gladly send to the Management company if I ever hear from them!! The furniture is a little worn and only seating for six in the living room for a home that sleeps 12-13. Kitchen was also a little under supplied and some of the pans need replacing. This is a beautiful home and is in a GREAT location and community. Bedrooms are big and the baths are also very big and nice. Its just a shame the Management company does not care to take care of issues.

Weekend Getaway

Travelled with my family for weekend get away to the mountains. This cabin covered all the family needs and the accessible bathrooms and electric chair was a definite plus for an my elderly mother.

House is extremely dirty

This property is extremely dirty. And it is impossible to get a hold of the property manager. When we were told by the neighbors that the cleaners were there for 25 minutes. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets, mold in the showers, blood on pillows, the floor was also extremely dirty. I am pretty sure that the bedding was never changed. We had to wash all of the bedding before going to bed and we also washed everything we used in the kitchen. It has been over a week and I have called Vacasa every day. They are telling me that they are relaying the message for a manager to call me, but I have not been called yet. Do not stay here and do not stay with Vacasa.

Hot tub didn't work. No one showed to repair after 3 calls. Lift chair didn't work. No one came to repair. Issues with washer but why report it when no one comes to repair things anyway. Stayed in black bear falls at 3 other cabins Loved it. This one was the smallest cabin we have rented and had the most issues.

Better inspection/repair jobs!!!

Home was beautiful and just as advertised!! There are a few things though!! I called the number for maintenance and got no response for our entire visit!!! Blinds were down on the main bedroom patio door. Had to put a blanked over the door for privacy. Could not close the blinds in the game room area, they were not functioning. One of the games in the game room didn’t work at all, the fire alarm in the game room needed new batteries and beeped the entire time 24/7 and we were not able to figure out the movie room set up to watch anything in there!!

Beautiful cabin, but the amenities fall short

We had a lovely stay at the 725 Mountain Way cabin in Black Bear Falls. The cabin was spacious and nicely decorated. Our complaints were that we could never get the theatre to work properly. It was broken when we got there, Called maintenance and he got it working but then once the movie ended, it reset itself and never worked again. The washing machine was FULL of mold and smelled horrible. Maintenance did address that issue. The hot tub did not work properly the entire week. We could not change temperature controls and it said “communication not available” for the entire week as well. No one was dispatched to fix the issue. One of the games in the game room did not work either. While we did enjoy the cabin and our time in Tennessee, it was extremely frustrating that the kids entertainment never worked. We paid a nice price for the luxury of the theatre and game room and were extremely disappointed that these amenities never worked.

Winter vacation

Cabin was beautiful. However we could never get the television in the media room or the master bedroom to work. Master bath toilet flapper and the toilet upstairs need to be replaced, they ran constantly. Not enough glasses if there had been more than two folks with us. However, we loved the location, cabin was gorgeous and as described. Master bed was very comfortable and atmosphere was very relaxing which was top of our list for this vacation. My husband has difficulty walking and maintaining his balance and the special accommodations the cabin offered were wonderful. We will definitely look for this cabin when we plan our next trip to the area.
