Water in the shower ran yellow. TV did not work , replaced it but could not get the programming correct so no TV. They changed our room so we could have a TV, but this was a huge inconvenience. Plus the beds were small and room amenities seemed dated and tattered. The price of the room prompted a freash up to date experience. We did not get that.

Overall a wonderful stay. Staff in particular. Very courteous and helpful.

The GCH is a beautiful establishment, however the front desk manager is not very pleasant.

I travel a lot and stay in many hotels but from the time I pulled up to the walk to my room. This hotel made me feel wanted and comfortable. It's now my favorite hotel in Long Island!

Really nice looking hotel, with large rooms and well appointed bathrooms. Had dinner in the bar because there was an event in the restaurant, but the bar was also very nice. No vending machines or other options for snacks and soda after 6 pm when the small store closes, which is really the only, minor complaint. Would definitely stay here again when doing business in Garden City.

What impressed me most about this hotel was the staff. Staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

The room was nice, however, around the ac unit there was actual mold growing on the wall and the floor boards. When I touched the carpet it was wet, there is obviously a leak somewhere, and mold was growing between the carpet and the wall, it was black and unsightly. When I informed the reception all they did was apologize, but made no attempt to compensate or change my room! Not what I expected from Garden City, New York.

We stopped here for 2 days en route to the Hamptons. The rooms were furnished nicely, well maintained , and excellent service. The Sunday brunch was fabulous- great selection of foods and excellent quality. Brunch beverages were delicious and free flowing! My only complaint was that the room was very noisy and it was not completely filled up. I had expected a better ambience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and the brunch.

We take pride in our commitment to guest satisfaction and do realize at times that unintentional errors do occur. I apologize about the disturbance of not having a properly functioning TV available in your room. I am happy to hear we were able to move you to another room.
