We checked in on Friday, December 23rd and was greeted by the nicest concierge person! She told us her name but I don't remember unfortunately because I actually joked with her that I felt like we were friends! She was warm and welcoming and offered us a choice of rooms. Our check in was smooth and easy! Our room was on the first floor and I thought that since it was next to the elevator and pool, it would be noisy but it wasn't. It was comfortable and nice for what we needed. The humidity make it hard to circulate the temperature around the room so the bed furthest from the a/c was warm while the closer one was freezing, but this wasn't much of an issue honestly. The second night we were there, Christmas Eve, the toilet clogged. It was around 8pm and I called my friend at the front desk. Her maintenance crew was out for the evening so she brought me a plunger. I had to plunge the toilet myself and got it to work but it was running the whole night. She had called about 30 mins later and said her maintenance guy would take a look in the morning. He came in as prompted and replaced a part. It worked fine the rest of the time. It would have been a step up if they had plunged the toilet but this was a minor thing. I want to shout out to Candy at the Breakfast Station. She was kind and friendly. Loved her. Oh and my friend kept the juice machine on for my little apple juice drinker! I refilled his bottle throughout our stay!

We wanted to stay at Galveston but the rooms were too high, especially during spring break. But we found this nice hotel about 15 miles from Galveston that was decently priced and well kept. Our room was a good price and the staff was very nice and cordial.

Hotel was clean, staff/mgmt were helpful and friendly. Enjoyed stay

Stayed with family. Hotel is nice, nothing fancy or anything. Close to NASA and Galveston beach (20 min drive). Couple of restaurants close by. But nothing else.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the indoor pool/Jacuzzi.

We had a wedding to attend on Sat. So i called and spoke to Gloria front desk she was wonderful. She assured me our room was ready and waiting not to worry have a wonderful time see ya later. The room was great cool, and comfy. Breakfast was great. And the late ck out even better.

Very Very clean with pleasant staff members. We all got a very peaceful nights rest. Budget friendly and the breakfast was good.

Stayed here because I had a race event in Galveston and all hotels there were full. The room and all common areas were nice and clean. The staff was very helpful and even put out the breakfast well in advance (5am instead of 7am) so that the atheletes could have something to eat before leaving. Great service!

It is just a Ok place. Nothing fancy to brag about.

Great, clean, and comfortable. Sound doesn't travel tgrough walls. Only complaint was strong chlorine in the air of the pool and spa room.

Great clean comfortable hotel. Great breakfast. Family friendly.

Nice family place. Staff was helpful and curtious. Pat, who served breakfast, was awesome! The only drawback was room noise from the room above and next door.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. I thought breakfast choices could have been better. Staff was freindly and helpful. Would stay again.

All went very well during our stay except for them forgetting to stock our towels but they were very quick to remedy the problem.

My stay at Fairfield Inn was perfect. Great staff, comfy beds, nice shower, delicious continental breakfast. Just keep in mind that this is a small hotel with limited common space. The only downside is the pool was very small and the hot tub wasn't clean.

The house keeping staff was very friendly. The desk staff, on the other hand, was to busy in the back chatting to hand out all the information we needed. The breakfast was nothing more than waffles and frozen sandwiches that were poorly stocked. To top it all off they did not tell us that there were different hours for breakfast on the weekdays. So Monday when we tryed to get breakfast we missed it. When I told them they directed me to a poorly displayed sign, and told me that I could go next door to ryans. This is definately not a hotel for a person who is from an earlier time zone. I f we wanted to make their breakfast, I ould need to wake my family up at 6am our time. That is not a vacation. Our tub was dirty, the a/c did not work, the coffee pot did not work, there was no refrigerator or microwave, and the tv was fuzzy. I will never stay at another Marriott, and I will never recommend one to a friend.

we were in Texas City to visit a relative and hoped to take in some sights while there, but unfortunately the weather did not allow for that, so our trip was spent visiting family and we were very happy for that. We plan on going back to see all the sights the town and surrounding area have to offer.

The hotel is very close to Galveston and the ocean. You must go to Front St.

Great place to stay, very clean, great breakfast. Friendly staff and good location.

Go shopping. Just relax. Everything was just perfect except the breakfast area was small and not enough food fir everyone.
