Pros Location was good Nice beach views from some vantage points Kitchen and dinning room was spacious 3 full bathrooms available Spacious primary and bathroom Ice maker was an excellent addition Very nice neighborhood and community Easy access to beach by foot Well maintained community Cons No key in lockbox/front door had to remain unlocked Smoke alarm was chirping Located several smoke alarms not even in working condition Bedding not very comfortable Large couch was difficult to sit on Furniture in bedrooms was limited, not much access to drawers or areas for clothing Most remotes had no batteries Issues with all 4 televisions, could not access barely any channels Many appliances and amenities were not in working order Refrigerator took almost 24 hrs to get food items cold Limited sitting on the deck areas Trash cans were left out on street by previous tenants Decor was limited and very basic Wish we would have been notified ahead of time about the golf cart tunnel between the neighborhoods and it’s beach access

Nice but needs a few improvements

Just a few suggestions to make it better! Supply some basic needs like toilet paper and paper towels. We arrived late because of flight complications. Couldn’t do our usual shopping. No toilet paper was quite upsetting. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom. It would have been nice to have a bureau to put our clothes in instead of living out of our suitcases. We were unable to get the tvs working. The remotes were either without batteries or the batteries were corroded plus the circuit had been tripped. The house was very clean but these other things are just as important!

DO NOT STAY HERE

I would highly recommend not ever staying at this place. We made a reservation to stay here for three days with my family and my grandkids. We come to Galveston every single year and have a great time. When we got here there was no Internet or TVs hooked up . As soon as we walked in the door there were ants and bugs all over the counters. I am a commercial general contractor getting ready to do a renovation of one of the largest hotels in Galveston and I was needing Internet to work on some business while I was here. We contacted the help number 13 times asking them to get the Internet hooked up for us and four the phone calls we got disconnected. Also, in one of the bathrooms the toilet lid was cracked into, which was very dangerous. We also spoke with two of the neighbors and they said the owners of this property are not easy to work with. We were not asking for a refund we were just asking them to please hook up the Internet so our grandkids, who are four and five years old would have a TV to watch at nighttime. We ended up packing and leaving out the next day, which made this a very awful trip. It was also my daughter in law's 26th birthday which we celebrated downtown. I would highly recommend staying at a different location. My wife contacted the owner by phone when we got back home, and she said under no circumstance would she give a refund. Try staying at a place that has no Internet and TV. I very seldom do a review, but I needed to do this one.

We enjoyed staying at Point San Luis. The house was spacious and had a close and easy access to the beach.

Great location to beach

Property was very close to beach for easy walking access. We’re able to view waves from a distance on the deck. Rooms had comfortable beds and baths. Could use some end tables in bedrooms and living room. Dryer needs the vent hose replaced as it kinks from being too long.

Enjoyable experience.

Over all it was pleasant. There were a few crawling creatures in different places. The request to wash the bedding and towels is fine but there is no detergent to do so. We left extra trash bags, as we could not find any. Also we left a small box of quart size storage bags for any future use. We really enjoyed the short walk to the beach and outdoor shower where we could rinse before entering the house. Overall we were all pretty happy with it.
