This is THE loveliest 1 bedroom condo at the Victorian complex which is located on Galveston's famed Seawall Boulevard, directly across from Babe's Beach, and having a central location and protect crossing at the corner to get to the beach itself. You will be walking distance to shopping, eateries and more, and only minutes from everything Galveston has to offer, from history and charm, antique shopping, festivals and special Galveston events, the cruise terminals, major traffic arteries, art shopping, local attractions, the convention center which hosts many athletic competitive and social events.
The owners have done everything possible to make the condo comfortable and practical. USB outlets everywhere for charging, every countertop and kitchen appliance you could need - clothing storage galore, and decorated to make you think you are in a lovely hotel room while having so many more amenities! There's a standing fan for those who like it cooler, a fireplace that provides either ambiance and can provided added warmth when needed.
Welcoming up to 6 humans - the private bedroom with barn door has a comfortable queen bed, the living room provides not only access to the balcony from which you can see the coastline but also the 61st Street Fishing Pier, sun, surf and sky - but also a great welcoming and gathering space for your group with plenty of seating by day and a sleeper sofa for extra bed space at night. There is a corner dining area for meals in if you prefer cooking to dining out (though there are a multitude of options around Galveston for that, as well) or a game of cards or a board game for some out of the sun fun time. The kitchen is truly one of a kind and offers all true appliances including not only counter top ones such as toaster and coffee maker, but large refrigerator, a microwave, dishwasher and range - yes both 4 burner cooktop and an oven!
In the hallway alcove you will find true twin bunk beds and the owners have spared no expense in their mattresses on any of the beds - all are equally comfortable.
The full bath features a custom tiled shower and the entire condo has been thoughtfully, tastefully, beachy but not "kitchy" decor.

Being in walking distance to a big box store makes shopping a breeze whether for food and beverage selections, beach necessities you may have forgotten, or souvenirs to remind you of your trip to the Texas gulf coast.
The Victorian complex is located across from Babe’s Beach on Galveston’s Seawall – protected by traffic signals at both corners so you can safely walk across to the beach. There’s a huge big box store that starts with a W next door for all your shopping needs, and eateries in walking distance for sandwiches and BBQ.
You will have exclusive use of the entire condo - and share the pools, hot tubs, fitness center, tennis court and grounds including BBQ pergolas, fish cleaning station and a multitude of outdoor spaces with other guests and residents of the Victorian condominium complex. The complex has 2 pools – at least one of which is heated in the seasons when God does not do this for us. There are two hot tubs, a fitness center and picnic/BBQ areas. There are also 2 hot tubs, a tennis court, and BBQ grills and picnic areas sprinkled around the complex.
What's included: While we provide our guests with self check-in information and instructions, you can call us with any questions you may have at any time.
You will have exclusive use of the entire condo - and share the pools, hot tubs, fitness center, tennis court and grounds including BBQ pergolas, fish cleaning station and a multitude of outdoor spaces with other guests and residents of the Victorian condominium complex.
You certainly COULD stay here without a car - you can walk to shopping, eateries and the beach, there is public transportation nearby, and there are several local and nationally "branded" taxi services as well as ride share (Uber, Lyft) programs in place as well as meal deliveries (UberEats, ASAP (formerly WAITR) and DoorDash available as well. We provide self check in instructions 24-72 hours prior to arrival - and when you are on vacation - YOU ARE ON VACATION. Should you need to reach us, however, we are but a phone call or email away and ready to assist you. We are happy to answer any questions at any time, but to ensure we give you the correct code we cannot provide access instructions earlier than this.
Bed linens for all beds, one bath, hand and wash cloth for each guest that the unit welcomes. We do not provide beach/pool towels as when we did – they continuously went home with our guests. If you wish to “rent” beach towels from us – it is $25 for condos that accommodate up to 6 guests and $35 for condos that accommodate up to 8 guests. Which is only the additional cost of the laundering of them – labor time, laundry products, etc. We will need to have a credit card on file for this as if there are beach towels missing upon your departure, the charge is $25 per towel. We ask that our bath towels not be removed from the condo and taken to the beach or pool. They can get damaged or lost.
Starter supplies: 2 rolls of 2-ply, quilted toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, a dishwasher tablet, small dishwashing liquid, sponge, 2 small soaps, 2 small shampoos, trash bag, and coffee including sweeteners, stir sticks, powdered creamer to make that first pot. These are intended to get you started while you make your list and decide where to shop (there is a WalMart, Kroger, Randall's, Arlan's and Target on the island, as well as many mom & pop grocery stores.
The Victorian condominium complex is located on Seawall Boulevard with protected (traffic signal) crossing at the corner for ease of getting to the beach. You will be close to shopping and eateries - so whether you plan to experience Galveston's culinary adventures or save money by cooking in (some or all of your meals) it's convenient from this central Seawall Boulevard Location.
The Victorian condominium complex – like almost every condominium complex and hotel in Galveston, charges a parking/resort/amenity fees. This is not a charge from My Galveston Getaway and is paid directly to the complex upon your arrival. They will issue a parking permit and may issue wristbands that identify guests who are authorized at the complex. They will also provide guests with the codes for the gates to enter the property - both drive-through and walk through, pools, hot tubs, fitness center and the WiFi code which is changed monthly. It is a complex-wide WiFi system. The charge is $35 + tax and includes up to 2 parking permits. This is for stays that are up to 7 consecutive nights in duration. For stays of 8-31 days it is $70 + tax, and for extended stays it is $70 + tax per month. We are unable to collect this in advance and pay it to the Victorian on your behalf. We don’t get to make the rules, we just play by them!
There are several pay-per-use laundry facilities at the Victorian, these accept credit and debit cards as methods of payment.
Many of our owners have switched out to “Smart” TV’s – so bring your login information with you to sign in to your own subscription services, and don’t forget to log-out before leaving.
The Victorian complex does not allow renters to have a pet – so if you travel with Fido or Fifi – please check out the other My Galveston Getaway managed properties that ARE dog friendly. While true service animals are an exception – you very well may be asked by the complex to provide the verification. For short term rental/vacation purposes – emotional support animals are not considered true support animals and we are unable to make exceptions to a rule that is in place and enforced by a complex in which we manage condos. Kindly be respectful.
