Front desk staffs at the reception was extremely rude upon check in. Request a room on the 1st floor was not granted. Was given a handicapped accessible room with a super low bed. I had requested to change the room as I have had back surgery and will not be able to sleep on a bed with low height. The front desk staff refused to chamge the room even there are other rooms available and told me I can cancel the room reservation if I am not happy and go and book other hotel if I want to. I had stayed so many hotels before due to my work. This is the first time I have encounter such a rude staffs and unhelpful attitude. I will not recommend thus hotel or stay here again. The staffs are the problem.

Well, after we spent 10 hours in the 110 degree heat for a sporting event, we headed to the hotel that I had booked far in advance and after lugging all our luggage and other items to the front desk, we were told there was a “maintenance” issue with our room. I told them fine, I’ll take a different room and then they fessed up to the truth that they overbooked and didn’t have a room for us. I would have appreciated a telephone call as a courtesy, but apparently that was asking too much of Springhill Suites. They also claimed the Homewood suites next door was full (later found out from a friend this was a lie). So they sent my 2 daughters and me to a crappy hotel down the street in a not-so-nice area, away from teammates. Our friends stayed at Springhill and they were told by another guest that the same thing happened to them a couple months prior. Needless to say, Springhill needs to get their stuff together. Just be aware that if you book this hotel, it’s a gamble whether they will actually have a room for you. You have been warned.
Good location and a comfortable bed and very clean
Very high ceilings in our room helped to make the room seem larger. Nice storage in the wet bar area for our travel food. Nice to have a keyed exit door to the parking lot at the end of the hall instead of having to go through the lobby.

We booked a king bed room. They gave us a double. The front desk gave me some excuse that Orbitz didn’t send them the right information. We checked with Orbitz and they said they did. My original confirmation said king bed. The hotel overbooked so they gave me the typical runaround with no compensation.

Dear valued guest, We are sorry for the inconvenience you encountered upon arrival. The weekend of your stay we had a couple of over bookings that somehow made their way in our system. Overbooking is not a standard for us, however sometimes it happens. We apologize that this happened to you. To make things right we refunded 100% of your stay with us as well as took care of all charges at the other hotel. I understand that this can't change what you had to deal with.
