Pictures did not match what we encountered. No table and chairs neither area to have meals. Old ant traps. No new ones. Bedding was old. Floor was soft in sections. Shower curtain had black mold. Dr style chairs to sit on.

House has an ant problem & was not clean!

The house was not clean and had an ant problem on arrival. Had someone been in to clean prior to our arrival they would have clearly noticed the ants- they were all over the counter, the floor of the kitchen and into the bedrooms. The fridge & microwave were dirty, toothpaste was all over faucets in bathrooms, the walls have such thick dust built up on them cobwebs were hanging from walls, furniture, ceiling & items hanging on the wall. When we messaged and spoke to someone, they dropped off 4 ant traps and sent a “cleaner” who partially cleaned the fridge (the parts we had photographed & sent to vacasa) and left other parts dirty. We had to go out and purchase additional ant traps and cleaning supplies and did a deep clean of the house Saturday night so that we would even feel comfortable staying. The floors were so dirty the socks we wore throughout the stay in the house had to be tossed. All appliances and furniture were in working order, cabinets had dishes, silverware & pans (we did not use much of it as we did not trust it given how unclean the home was), wifi worked, hot water & water pressure were good. Neighbors above us had parties you could hear through the ceiling and smoked on the upper deck, sending their ashes in front of the door to the condo.

Unpleasant Surprise

We arrived to find a very unclean condo. Floors were filthy, sheets and shower curtains dirty food crumbs on table and floor along with lots of dog hair. Went and bought cleaning supplies and spent 2 hours making it livable. Asked for partial refund but have received nothing.

Convenient location

Comfortable Stay

We were happy with the rental. Dealing with VRBO was so easy and they were very helpful from the beginning. Cute and cozy place, loved that we could bring our dog and walk her around the development.

Overall a very cute beach themed property. Filled with all the regalia making it a summer themed residence. But in order of occurance. Upon entering the development , the properties were designated "A" and "B units .We came in after dark and the letter "A" was hidden by the overgrown shrubs. It became quite obvious in the light of day. But please do have the landscapers give this lovely bush a haircut. Then we were given the entrance code of which was correct. However, the incrementing of the "check" icon as a suffix,was never mentioned. We were able to reach a property agent at 1030 pm who was quite helpful on this finner note of keyless entry. Then there's the matter of a mattress .I am one who has slept on rock ledges in the past,but this very inviting appearing bed has a depresion of which made it essential to hug the edge of the bed in order to "not" decend into the abyss. Please have the management retire this well worn mattress to the recycle center. And I took the liberty of repairing the kitchen cabinet door hinge beneath the sink. I happen to be a Boy Scout and carry a tool kit and was able to get it back in action. I also put a new battery in the kitchen clock. Forgive the miniscule critique's .But for the price of admission we might have stayed at a name brand name hotel. All in all, an interesting adventure .But if you want high marks then please look closer than clean linnens and Beach acoutrements.

Ok place but bad communication. Didn’t receive check in information until late the day of. No answer to Communication during our stay. There was an issue with The basement window Hanging open when we arrived. Sent pictures but never received a response. Liked the area but would probably not stay here again.

Quite location

This property is in a quite area and nearby beaches in driving distance. It has a rustic beach theme feel. It’s a descent size and needs some updating. Wish there was outdoor seating off the sun room. It also allows dogs which is why we booked it!

Enjoyed our time

We enjoyed our time here and would consider coming again next year. The condo was exactly as pictured. We were concerned about noise being in a condo/apartment/townhouse setting, we had no problems at all. I reached out twice for information and never heard back, a response would have been nice but I figured out my question. The commute to beach was under 10 mins. Local shopping also 10 mins. 30 mins to Rehoboth outlets. Pretty quiet area and no issues with our dogs at all.

Good Location at Fair Price

Stayed for a week at the beach with my wife, 16 year old son, and 2 dogs. Good location to beach ( ~1.5 miles - drive and park). Unit is older, but cozy. Enjoyed the very quiet neighborhood, and it is very dog friendly. A great time overall, and will consider this location again in the future.

Lovely Beach Vacay

My family and I enjoyed staying here, the property was clean and very well maintained. The sunroom was adorable and it was a great place to eat diner! The neighborhood was very quiet, away from the normal hustle and bustle you get from O.C so it was very nice! Driving to the beach was not an issue, we went to Fenwick State Park and it was excellent! Overall this was a great property, that we would be happy to stay in again and wish we could have stayed a bit longer. The T.V in each room was a nice bonus, so everyone could get some downtime. Great place to stay in Bethany!

Nice Place but has ants and sofa not clean

The location was really nice and the unit was very nicely set up. My only complaints are that there was an ant problem in the kitchen and the furniture was not comfortable. The rocker in the living room felt like it was going to break and the sofa was very dirty. Also, the twin beds in the 2nd bedroom had very hard mattresses.

Peaceful apartment near the beach

We had a brief stay with our dog. The place was clean, plenty of extra linens, and convenient to the beach. Overall a very relaxing weekend away.
