This review is for both Executive Inn and Orbitz combined.
I made a mistake and reserved the wrong evening. I opted to not get the refundable option because I was checking in that same evening (or so I thought). Two hours later, I found out upon arrival, that my stay was for 2 weeks later. The front desk staff told me I needed to deal with Orbitz for the cancelation/refund. I called right away, and requested that. They told me the hotel owner or manager would need to release my reservation to do so. Orbitz stayed in touch with me for a week and finally said they denied my request. I thought I would call the hotel myself. They told me to send an email and would relay the message. I never received a response after two attempts. Defeated, we decided to take the opportunity to go back up and stay that night. Front desk person was nice. I asked for a late check out (1 hour) and they said yes. The room was clean, but could definitely use a spruce up. Quite outdated. Our room was in the front (overlooking the parking lot) and it was NOISY! Traffic, and especially the car alarm that would get triggered every time a loud car passed by on the highway. It was annoying that the highway is one way and you have to go way down to turn back around. It adds 3-5 minutes to the commute. Not horrible though. Maintenance banged on our door in the morning as we were getting ready asking if we were running the water bc the room below us was getting wet. We were not. We won't stay again.
