Fun time at the beach
Myself and 3 friends had a great during our 2night stay. The food was good and they didn’t prohibit drinks that we brought to the outside restaurant. This is my 3rd trip and the first 2 trips accepted a credit card for meals and drinks. This visit they only accepted cash. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time. Other than that everything was perfect.

Exactly what we needed!
We arrived early in the morning in Miami and needed a place to store our luggage until check-in time. We were pleasantly surprised when we went into the office a little after 9 when they told us our room was ready for us and we could check in then!!! That made our day, because we were then able to get situated in our room, use their towels and beach chairs, and enjoy the entire day exploring Hollywood Beach while having a home base to go back to to change, use the bathroom, shower, whatever. It was amazing! The hotel itself is older (but clean), but the location and views made it so worth the money! The view out the front windows was the beautiful beach and ocean, while out the back windows we could see the waters of the Inter-coastal. It is also right on the boardwalk, so we could easily walk up and down the beach and visit all the shops and restaurants. When I asked about a late check-out, they said we could have up to 3 extra hours for a minimal fee per hour…. So great to not have to rush out of our room. We loved our stay at the Riptide!!

The property is right on the beach. No need for a rental car. They have entertainment 7 days a week which ends at 9pm. This was my second trip two years in a row at the Riptide. It’s a wonderful mom and teenage daughter spring getaway. The staff is great and the location is amazing. We will go back again.

This place was so neat. It is right on the boardwalk and beach, above/around this tiki bar. The staff were super nice. While the room was smaller it had everything we needed. The tiki bar closes promptly at 9pm so it was very quiet, whichballowed us to enjoy the ocean. I would stay here again.

Great spot! Walking distance to so many restaurants and bars. And literally right on the beach. The only downside was that the tiki bar kitchen was closed. They said it was being renovated. But that was OK because there were so many other options in walking distance.

Great location, not 5 star but nice
Overall, this hotel is very cute and in a great location. The TV in the room didn't work but by the time we figured it out it was late at night. The beds are hard, as are the pillows. Could use some updating there. The tiki bar while convenient, did not have a hard liquor license so it is beer and wine only. They made me a cranberry "vodka" wtih wine. Not very fabulous. The staff was super friendly which always makes up for most negatives for me. The view was gorgeous! We enjoyed sitting on the patio area and taking in the scenery.

This small hotel is located directly on the Hollywood Boardwalk and directly across from the Hollywood Beach. Th area is very much family oriented. The hotel has a Bar and food service located on the street level. There is live music almost every afternoon and night. Our room was on the second floor and the noise from the bar was no problem. There were several maintenance items that the staff took care of immediately.

The over all experiences were good The staff was helpful They also give beach chairs and property location view etc is awesome Few things I highly recommend Should have a room service like food etc delivered to room since they have good restaurant Reception intercom No breakfast facility should start one Do also keep in mind Swimming pool is not there

Pros - Great location (close to everything), beautiful view, and plenty of space in the room. Cons- Air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool. Limited parking with a cost of $15 night was not in the Expedia description.
