We arrived in the evening. The apartment looked very nice the view was nice as well but; The bed sheets was DIRTY with full of hairs!!!! We needed to go to Target and buy new bed sheets, blanket in the evening. The apartment was dirty!!!! After we put the new bed sheet on the bed, I sat on the bed and the bed collapsed. (I am 60kg) We had to sleep on the couch. Next day morning could not lock the door. I called the company ROCKET STAY, (they are managing these units) and I complained about all the problem. She was very nice and understanding. She said they will refund for me the 65 dollars cleaning fee and the money which I spent for the blanket and bed sheet. And of course they will clean the apartment. They wanted to transfer me to another apartment, for one night until they fix the bed. I went to check the apartment. Guess what! The bed was dirty and with hairs inside!!!! (I upload some photos) I told them I will Not move to another dirty apartment, so just fix mine. I have some money to the cleaner and she cleaned it up beautifully. We paid 1000 dollars for the 6 nights we spent there!!!! In these condition?!?! I’m asking now to refund also the first two evening, but they didn’t refund even what they promiced me!!!! The cleaning fee, and what I spent for bed sheet.... I’m traveling, actually I’m leaving in hotels and apartments because of my job but this is absolutely the WORST experience of my life!!!!! And the way how they are NOT helping me after this problem, it’s just ridiculous....!!!! Sad to say, but if you choose this place, just be sure, it will not be clean!!!!!
I just returned from 5 days at Artrageous on the River, and it was absolutely the most attractive, immaculately clean and comfortable accommodation I've stayed at in my most recent travels. The apartments are just beautiful, large, and completely equipped. Having parking just down stairs was a real asset. I was also stunned by the value for the dollar. It's apparent that this is an apartment building transitioning to apartments for travelers which explains some of the construction activity, but it never interfered with our stay. The river views are gorgeous, and the River Walk a few steps away. You can take it to walk to downtown Las Olas Blvd shops and restaurants. It's a bit of a walk but along the River it's a lovely walk. I must comment on the virtual check in and communication with Jason - at the other end of phone calls and texts. At first I was hesitant about there not being a traditional "front desk", etc., but that never was a problem. Jason was completely accessible and responded IMMEDIATELY when there was a bit of confusion in our room assignment. I will be traveling to Ft. Lauderdale over the next several months and you can be sure that I look forward to staying there again. PS - I can't imagine that the person complaining about lice stayed at the same place - the account and description of the facilities and neighborhood are bizarre.
We stayed at this "up and coming" property 7/24/18-7/27/18 and our family got lice! It was being renovated while we were there and dumpsters out front. Workers coming and going all day. Shopping carts under the stairs and not well maintained. The inside of the apartment gave a good facade as the floors, kitchen, and baths were all brand new. We looked up getting our money back that day, however the terms gave us 10 min of booking it to cancel it, so that was not an option. I called the property manager Jason to let him know when we got home we had lice, his response was "I wish you and your family a speedy recovery. I can only imagine it's not very much fun." That was the extent of his compassion. I made him aware that the bedding was not cleaned properly and this never should have happened.
Very clean accomadations in a great location. My family and I stayed in Unit 302 and could not have been happier with our host. Everything was just as noted and the beds we very comfortable. Highly recommend this place for group or family travel
From the outside, it's an older building, but inside they have done a nice job remodeling these apartments. They are spacious and comfortable - like 800 sq ft, so way bigger than a hotel room. The property is right on the river and you can watch boats go by from the pool, which is very relaxing. Parking is easy with an assigned space. You can walk to the Las Olas restaurant/shopping district. The beach is about 3-4 miles and 15 minutes away. You have to jump through some hoops to set up the virtual check in online, but once it's done it's done. I had a couple minor issues (like the TV didn't work) and they took care of them quickly and kindly. If you'd like to stay at an apartment instead of a hotel in Ft. Lauderdale this is a great choice.
