I checked in and the lady there was not nice towards me from the time I checked in to the day before me checking out. I wasn't greeted with a, "Hello, Welcome to Suburban Extended Stay." She just looked at me, til I spoke first. So, I said, "Hello, how are you?" And her response was, "What you need?" I asked if they had bottles of water and she told me that they do not give out bottles of water. So, I then asked if they sold them and she said, "No, we don't have water at all." How do you not serve water to guests. Then, I could not access the internet. So, I called down to them from the phone and asked her about it, and she instantly said with an attitude that if I can't log on, then she doesn't know what to tell me and I just don't know what I am doing because no one else is having complaints logging on, so I should called customer service. Which I did and turned out, she had a letter wrong on the key card that she wrote down, so that's why I couldn't log on. I still was calm with her, until I was getting off the phone with her and she mumbled under her breath, calling me out my name. I guess she thought I wouldn't hear her. I just took it, that she's dealing with something personally and that she's needing to take what she's dealing with out on others, but that's not my issue. The morning of me checking out, there was a different black lady, but she was lighter than the other black lady and she was much sweeter. Mind you I am black myself, so due to me not remembering the girls name, that's the way I can describe her. Need to hire people that is a people person.
This place needs updated terribly. You feel gross the whole time you are there. It could also be cleaner. Your feet stay black with dirt the whole time you are there. The weekly rate wasn't bad at all for a motel but at dark there are alot of prostitues that hang out outside.
If you are looking for a cheap stop over with cheap price or long stay its ok very small room , everything smell like cigarette even non smoking room its part of the package full kitchen is nice but dated, you get what you pay for . Will i go back :NO
Do not be fooled by the Star Raing - This is no 2.5 Star Hotel. It is Not even a 1 Star Hotel! 1. Mold on inside and outside of fridg. 2. Lights and outlets don't work. 3. Cut toe nails under the bathroom counter. 4. Stepped on a nail in the middle of the floor. 5. A/C heater will not turn on. 6. Plastic cup in bathroom wrap in plastic, was wet and smelled when I opened it. 7. Furniture all chipped up. 8. Outside area is dirty and cluttered.
We booked through Hotels.com. The hotel does not look the the pictures posted. The area was Sketchy and there were people walking around talking loud. The room appeared to be clean until I looked closer. The tub was dirty. My son had white socks on when he walked around the room his socks turned black. There was a huge spider that came out of the air conditioner unit. We laid on the bed and got bit. I didn't see any bugs but maybe it was a mite or flea. I didn't want to take any chances so we left. The staff was friendly and didn't give me any issues. I would recommend anyone thinking of staying here DO NOT DO IT!!
The studio rooms are cozy and comfortable! Great staff and clean wash room! It's a great hotel for a great price. The best part is you can cook and they supplied all pans and dishes! Even a nice size fridge!
Had an issue with a card, they let me switch on the fly said it was too easy. Friendly staff and unmatched service. I will stay again. When I went to the front desk to ask anything, from dining to family friendly activities the were always ready to help.
* Property outside - Dirty, empty beer bottles seen on arrival, still there next morning * Location - Sketchy, did not feel safe to go out at night * Room - No kleenex, bathroom not very clean, don't walk on carpet bare foot, TV did not work properly (reported to desk, no resolution) * Shower curtain, moldy spots * Bedspread and blanket, cigarette burn holes in a few places * Mattress, great if you want to continually roll to center
I stay for work all over the east coast. We normally stay with choice hotels. This hotel was one of the worst I have stayed at. When we went to check in we requested 2 smoking and one nonsmoking room. As I have had 4 heart attacks and am very sent to smoke. The room was still full of smoke so I requested another room. The second room the key lock would not work. They said you had to play with it. So I did I got in the room to find that the tv didn't work but by now it was late and I just wanted to go to bed. I got up at 4:00am to find a group of females in there bra and thongs standing in front of the hotel soliciting prostitution. The other workers with me called me and said he had bed bugs and want to move. We went back to the comfort inn. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
First and foremost , I Reserved my room with one card Paid with another and both were Charged , what typa circus are They running ? Ric the site manager isn't sympathetic nor understanding nor did he seem caring. I told him what happened and he stated "I don't know what happened I wasn't here" that's not how managers act I am one myself , they couldn't cancel the transaction on site so I had to wait 7 days until checkout just to get my money back which was well over 220 bucks I called the regional manager at the corporate office his name was RICK STROUSE whom I left several voicemails ( whom were never returned) and he must have been hip to the roach motel he's the regional manager and he couldn't pick up the phone ??My first room had bugs the second was poorly cleaned it had bugs beetles and mold. I crushed a giant beetle whom I felt and heard it's back crush with my shoe there was a dead fly in my shower , my toilet leaked water And my sink and dishes were FILTHY , my fiancé came there with a smooth back but left with small red marks it was a nightmare shut this catastrophe down NOW.
