Overall a nice place to stay. Location is a plus, only 15 minutes from both the airport and the Fort Bragg front gate. Many name brand restaurants within a five minute walk and only a five minute drive to the local mall. Rooms are spacious and the whole facility is kept very clean. Staff is wonderful, very friendly and attentive to guest needs and concerns. My only recommendation for future guest is to request a room away from the All American highway access ramp because it can get noisy.
This was a great hotel! The location is ideal. The Mall and a handful of restaurants were just up the street and there was a Texas Roadhouse right across the street. The Hotel had a little market area with food, snacks and drinks but there was a Starbucks Bistro/Cafe in the lobby that was wonderful for breakfast and lunch. Christina worked in the mornings, with her partner Natasha, and suggested and made some great meals. The Lobby also had a little business area with computers and a printer. Theresea from the Front Desk was so awesome! Always willing to help and making sure we were happy. The only bad things I can say is the hallways were always so cold, the carpets need to be updated or replaced and my bathtub had a crack by the drain with a little rust. Housekeeping was on the ball, giving supplies when requested and even though we didn't need our rooms everyday for the time we were there they did empty trash and tidy the bathrooms. Kudos to Brenda and her girls for being very professional and friendly. There was also a pool and a garden sitting area outside of the lobby. Our stay was awesome and The Courtyard was a Great Hotel and we would definitely stay again!
I have stayed at several of the Marriott Properties. Including Ritz Carltons- Fairfiled Inns. The best part of my stay here was the SERVICE (yes that right SERVICE!!) From Kelly, to Theresea to Taylor (excuse me if the spelling is incorrect). I was made to feel comfortable from start to finish! Obviously Management cares about not only their guest but also their team members!! The room was older, but adequate size. The room was clean for the most part (a couple of spots on the carpet). The ice was on the 3rd floor, but at all times I was offered the opportunity to get ice from the little eatery. I arrived much later than normal (almost midnight) so most of the rooms were taken. I was given the option of any floor I wanted. I chose the first floor as it was late and I had much to bring in. I wanted to be close to the Door (BIG MISTAKE) . The Door was opening and closing, people talking and yelling coming in and going out both nights until the wee hours. Certainly NOT anyones fault but my own!! The lady at the front desk only did as I had asked her to do. Bottom line? If you are looking for a hotel in Fayetteville and SERVICE with a BIG S...this establishment will make you proud!!!
Lobby area is really comfortable, but rooms feel really old and not dirty per se but expected more. I payed around $200 for a motel like room... but i got to day the bed is comfortable. If they change the rugs, and update the bathrooms this may be a more ok hotel....
The hotel was very clean and convenient to restaurants, highways, and downtown Fayetteville, but the hallways and rooms were freezing. The outside temperature was 48 degrees, but the hallways were colder than the outside. The rooms were not as cold as the hallways, but it took a very long time for the room to warm up when I raised the thermostat. Why is the AC on when the outside temp is 48 degrees? The bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night.
My husband and son enjoyed their stay but said they would have liked a microwave and freezer in the room. Also, there are no vending machines for late night snacks. The internet was good, beds comfortable, very friendly and accommodating staff. Would recommend this hotel.
Excellent front desk staff, check-in was quick as well as check-out. Small number of TV channels. Coffee and fridge in room. Small workout room. Coin-op washer/dryer on premises. Small front lobby. No free breakfast available. Free parking around building. Near dining establishments. Would stay here again.
A peculiar configuration, but a cozy stay in the suites at the end of the hallway. Room spacing for the suite made it worthwhile. Scenic view is depending on odd or even hotel rooms that would face the inner courtyard.
Everyone was great but I can't remember all the names. Andrew at front desk and the great staff is why I give it a 4. Otherwise it would be a 3 or less. Brand new building and gym reminds me of the old days. 2 treadmills and one elliptical and some dumbbells. Business travelers need more to stay healthy. Gym had and empty water cooler and couldn't get it refilled. Luckily great staff gave me a free bottle of water. Starbucks had no natural duvet and no half and half cream. Hope they can fix the small issues.
Not the quality Marriott that I am used to. Pros: comfortable bed and great location. Cons: noisy hvac in the room. Funny smell. Stained carpets. We stayed 3 nights in 2 different rooms and same results....unable to sleep. The old school heater is a big noisy machine sitting in the room under the window. Every time it tries to come on it makes a tremendous amount of noise. This happens all through the night unless you turn it off completely and then freeze. We will have to find a different hotel in the future. Suggestions to courtyard: upgrade hvac to a central system that is external to the room.
