Courtyard by Marriott Fairfield Napa Valley Area

3.0 out of 5.0

Good location near to Interstate 80, the hotel is a bit outdated, the internet is slower than dial-up in the early 90´s and the bathroom can use an upgrade.

I did liked. My husband and I staid over in this hotel for one night and it was Great..

The hotel really meet our expectations it was near every place we wanted to go and accessible to most of the main Hwy at Fairfield. We enjoyed our staying very much

Wanted to stay in/closer to Napa but options were limited due to the Bottle Rock concert. This hotel was close enough that traveling back and forth was manageable and it was certainly worth the cost as compared to staying in downtown Napa.

This was our first time visiting Napa Valley. We chose this hotel because of location. Our original booking was supposed to include breakfast - but we made a change to our room and the free breakfast "disappeared" off of our reservation. The staff was cordial, but not friendly nor helpful. The room was nice - plenty of space, mini-fridge, comfortable beds. Would I stay here again? Maybe if I needed to - but I'd be likely to try some other hotels in the area first. I was just expecting a little more from a Marriott.

The staff is very friendly, the room is clean.my kids loved it

Very good hotel. Only issue is 10-15 miles from NAPA VALLEY much of it was road construction.

We booked the hotel for a weekend getaway and wine tasting. We had no issues with the hotel whatsoever. Clean rooms, friendly staff, easy check in/out. The pool and jacuzzi were very clean and easily accessible as well but unfortunately time did not permit us to put any use to it. I would highly recommend purchasing the continental breakfast when booking the hotel. It will save you money instead buying it there. Breakfast isn't 5 star or anything, but it's all you need. Thank you!

When we checked in the A/C wasn't working in our room. The Manager came up (we didn't have to wait for maintenance# and checked it out. He said it didn't look like a quick fix so he could get us a different room. Just like that within 5 minutes we had a new room with a working A/C. Nesha was at the front desk most of the times I went by or called and was most helpful - like when the printer to print our boarding passes was out of ink - she printed them for me on the front desk computer. The only negative I would say is that the "café" only offers Continental or "full" buffet. And you have to pay for both. We are accustomed to staying where the Continental #including make your own waffles# is free. Overall - we would stay here again as long as we could have a room on the "quiet" side again. Because the rooms on the other side must be quite noisy because the freeway #I-80) is right there.

If you want to stay in a clean and well located hotel for both Sonoma and Napa, this should be your option.

This hotel really delivered. It was clean and modern, the location was great, and offers a great value for anyone planning to visit Napa/Sonoma. We even ended up being upgraded to a suite! Can't wait to stay here again next time.

I was quite disappointed about the overall accommodation level. This place provides everything you need, but that's just it. Any Days Inn would do that job for much less money.

I was fearful of the location during our Napa and Sonoma wine trips but it really does lend itself well. Property is clean, well situated around groceries, fast food and gas. Staff is very friendly. A much bigger property than I thought.

We were going to Napa for a winery event and needed a reasonably priced place to spend one night. This Courtyard was convenient to the freeway, but quiet, clean and a good value. We would stay there again. Just take your own hairdryer as there was not one provided in the room.

Close to Napa. Convenient. OK price. Clean and friendly staff.

Room was great. Nice and clean.. $7.00 for breakfast, $120.00 room and they charge for a breakfast!!!

This hotel was squeaky clean. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Always seemed to be smiling. Outside pool wasn't too cold. Located just off I-80 so was handy. Some traffic noise but wasn't a problem. They have one computer in the business area with some weird connections software that would disconnect from the internet every time I printed a page but other than that, was fine. Also, for you runners, if you run up Oliver st left on Mankas, you end up running in vineyards after about 1.5 miles. Miles and miles of vineyards heading toward Napa.

We stayed overnight to be close to the State Board Exam for Cosmetology. The hotel was very nice. The room did smell a little funny, but seemed to go away. Perhaps all hotel rooms smell a little funny? Nice people. We asked about checking out late,as the test went into the afternoon. They let us check out at 2 PM. Didn't use the fitness center, but it did look nice. Beds and pillows were very comfy. There was a smoke detector overhead by the bed. It was somewhat annoying to have the green LED flashing all night long.

We could not fall a sleep, because the AC was too noisy!!!!

This was our second time at this hotel, and while the stay was still nice and the staff still helpful, it was different. This time around the staff didn't seem to be as knowledgeable and able to offer us the specific type of information and assistance that would be meet our needs. We did get a late check out though, which helped a lot with the testing situation we were there to complete at the local cosmetology exam center. The hotel was also noisier and the room seemed a bit worn. However, overall, it was a fine stay.
