Not up to Best Western standards. Staff pleasant enough, but the property was sub par. You could hear every toilet flush on the second floor, conversations, draining water and the beds were uncomfortable w/not enough blankets. Strong chlorine smell in the room.
Very run down. Surfaces had not been wiped down in room. I had to wash off sticky spots from the nightstand. I couldn’t believe this was a Best Western property. I’ve stayed in many and some are nicer than others but I’ve never seen one that was just a run down, dirty roadside motel.
Great hotel. Great staff. Professional. Courteous. Has been recently completely renovated. Excellent.

The best thing about this hotel is it's caring staff. We had to check out very early (5:45 am) to catch our 7 am flight and they kindly prepared go-bags for our breakfast. They were courteous and kind at every step of the check in and check out process. Our stay was a quick overnight so didn't get to check out the amenities but the room was clean and comfortable with minimal signs of cosmetic distress showing (rusting on the bathroom lighting hardware). The complimentary WiFi worked well and I was able to easily connect to it on my cell phone and laptop. The refrigerators, lights, and electrical outlets and lights were all in working order. The towels, bedding and furniture all looked and smelled clean. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable.
Enjoyed the dinners at their restaurant. The room was just ok.
The front desk staff was very nice and cordial at check-in; however, they neglected to inform us about any road closures that made an enormous inconvenience to our travel plans (got stuck waiting for 3-hours on 101 with no way out, ruining our day). The room smelled horrible, and we found a previous guest's underwear still laying in our room. The area is dirty, and the hotel is even worse. During a two-week family road-trip, this was definitely the low-point of our trip and somewhere we will never visit again.
I really liked Mike the young man in Northwoods restaurant. He had some of the best customer service I've seen in a long time.
The hotel is super clean and the staff was very friendly. With the virus that is going on right, we felt comfortable that the hotel looked and smelt like it had been cleaned throughly.

The hotel was nice and clean! The staff was great. The hotel restaurant was a little lame. Crescent city is a nasty space, there’s very few places to eat and the ones open take FOREVER to serve you. There’s a few trailer park camp outs filled with vagabonds doing hard drugs, super sketchy. The hotel manager urged us to bring in our bikes that were on our car locked up because there’s been so many thefts. The hotel was great, the city and vibe was off putting. The beach across the hotel was filled with dead birds.
