We absolutely loved our stay! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. One of the best parts was the lake access—we enjoyed spending time by the water, relaxing, and taking in the beautiful views. It made the whole experience extra special and peaceful.The location was perfect, with easy access to everything we needed, yet it still felt private and relaxing. The home was well-stocked with all the essentials, and the little touches made it feel like home away from home.Communication with the host was smooth and prompt, which made check-in and check-out super easy. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway spot.

2025 Summer Vacay

Overall we had a great experience the house was very clean (did find a random slipper under our bed from previous guest) kitchen was stocked great lots of cleaning products dishes food storage. The Barage/ game room was great everyone enjoyed the space the extra fridge was key for our group as we ate and spent 75 percent of our time at the house. The dock area was great but should be aware if you rent a boat it it moored away from the dock so someone had to paddle back in from the lake. Overall great experience we have rented several vrbo/Airbnb properties and this is one of the best. I did text the owner with two issues but did not receive a response nothing that caused a big deal Thanks for hosting our family

Everything it was supposed to be!

The owners have done an amazing job with this rental. Everything is as advertised in the listing. House was clean, view was spectacular, and everything worked. The additional Game Room/Movie Room was a huge hit with the 5 kids we had with us. The views from the master bedroom upstairs are perfect. Incredible sunsets down at the huge fire pit. Nothing not to like about this property.

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts answered any questions we had in a matter of minutes. The home had everything needed to make our stay delightful. The outside had everything to make our visit fun, firepit, paddle boards, lots of tables and comfortable chairs and views of the lake inside and out. The kitchen was very well equipped and two refrigerators helped with the food for 12 people.

Rainy Days Are Still Fun Days

The house was big enough for a family of 10 people. Very roomy, clean and well stocked. Even though the weather didn’t allow us to totally enjoy the outside amenities due to the rain, we still had a wonderful time there. The game room was a big hit with the grandchildren. 86” TV for gaming, pool/ping pong table, arcade games, shuffle board and darts kept them very content. There was a lot of board games also that we payed. Overall, everyone in our family had a great time and would definitely recommend this vacation rental to others.

David and Laurie have thought of everything with this house!! We have been renting vacation houses for over 14 years, and this one was the absolute best house we have ever stayed at!! The game room is incredible! We spent so much time playing all the games! We even brought our switch and had Mario cart races on the massive TV! The pool table and shuffleboard were perfectly leveled and high quality. The game room even had its own heating/cooling unit to keep it perfectly cozy while playing! Also- a full size beverage fridge!! The living room though- the view!!!! The floor to ceiling windows and gas fireplace made for a perfect gathering place and stage for opening birthday presents. :) The view from the upstairs bedroom was incredible as well!! Also with its own heating/cooling unit! The kitchen looks small in the pictures but it’s not. There are super wide counters so plenty of space to set out food and things. It is also fully stocked with all the pans and utensils!So many bathrooms! And bedrooms!! Plus the rooms are on all three levels and not all on top of each other. There is plenty of room to space out as needed and plenty of privacy. We are already planning our return trip to this perfect home! We can't wait to come back- thank you David and Laurie!! :)

I have stayed here both summer and winter. Fablous property. Very clean and updated. 4 bathrooms. Not far from town and ski hills. A lot of quality for the money.

Beautiful!

We were all so pleased with everything about this beautiful retreat - the preteens were thrilled with the rec room while the adults relaxed in the soothing site of the south arm of lake Charlevoix dressed in gorgeous fall colors. On top of that, the owners were very thoughtful & responsive. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us.

Very pleased!

Our family rented this home for our kids and grandkids to stay to attend a wedding. The space was perfect! Everything was well kept and clean and there was plenty of space to move around. The host was attentive to questions and had the house expected perfectly written! Will consider in the future if the location is correct. Would definitely recommend.

Best Lake Trip Ever!

Laurie and David’s lake house was perfect for our extended family vacation. The location couldn’t be better, on the lake with stunning sunset views. The home is very clean, decorated well, with comfortable bedrooms and living spaces. The game-theater room was definitely approved by the teens in our group! Grandparents had plenty of comfortable outdoor seating overlooking the lake while we waterskied and tubed in the bay. We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to returning to Lake Charlevoix and Laurie and David’s place!

Amazing Family Vacation

My family loved everything about our stay at this wonderful Lake Charlevoix property. We were able to rent a tritoon for a few days and stopped off for lunch at the Landings Restaurant right on the water. Being on the South Arm of Lake Charlevoix is the BEST. The kids had fun tubing even on the windiest of days at this part of the lake. The main body had small craft warnings, but that didn't affect us in this location. The owner was extremely responsive to all my queries. He went out of his way to provide extra small appliances I inquired about but were not necessary. I was planning on bringing items from home if the rental didn't have them, but he stopped by on our first day and provided brand new items. We loved the home decor, indoor and outdoor spaces and the extra fun amenities. Our grandkids loved the theater room and I enjoyed being challenged to defend my ping-pong title with my granddaughter. Access to the lake was incredible either directly from the sandy beach or by the ladder at the end of the dock. Everyone wanted to extend our stay and made me promise to book this same home next year and make it an annual tradition. Thank you to David and his wife who made this home so comfortable and enjoyable.

Great family vacation along a quiet lake.

We stayed Memorial Day weekend, maxing out the house capacity! We had plenty of space to spread out. The homeowner notified us in advance of renovations that were occurring to the property and kept us posted on progress. Owners are very polite and responsive. The renovations are full of detail and help improve the quality of stay. The custom decor completed the vibe. Everything is fully stocked for your trip needs. The new game room was a huge hit for the kids especially since we had one rain-out day where it rained morning to night! The outside space is exactly the right size to relax by the fire, play a yard game, or for a pet. The dock had plenty of space for easy water access. The property was very serene and on a private drive. The tree coverage on either side of the yard helps give privacy despite close proximity to neighbors. Everyone was polite and respectful in neighboring houses. Top notch stay!

Home pictures are accurate. "Newly renovated" is not accurate but the home is quite nice. Sufficient bathrooms and every thing worked. Water front property is exactly as pictures show. Docking facility for our boat was wonderful. Great facility and ample parking for our vehicles. Weather was not the best during our stay but I'm sure it would be even more pleasant with great weather.

Highest Praise for this Property AND Owner

We've been staying at the same place for 7 years and this year decided to venture out. I was very apprehensive yet it turned out to be amazing. This house is perfect for kids, adults and older folks. Much of our worry was re: not having a beach for the kiddos (3,6 and 9) yet it was--in many ways--a non-issue. The dock is beautiful, safe and gave them a place to jump into appropriate depths with supervision seating right there. Kids had a blast (note: they are good swimmers). The house is ideal for a larger group (we had 11) with three beds on lower level, each slightly small but nothing more is needed on vacation than a place to sleep! The bunk room is ideal. Main floor master and bath are good, comfy. Upstairs gave a single adult privacy and his own space. Everything you might need is included. Appliances newer, storage for food in kitchen and clothing in bedrooms is excellent. Extremely clean, tidy and welcoming upon entering. We were very, very happy here and trust me--you will be, too! Highest recommendation for comfort, ease of use and responsiveness of owners. Not a 'show place' but just what we wanted--a home. Thank you for a lovely vacation experience.
