Very cute boat house. My husband loved fishing for trout in the river just off the deck. Nice morning walk thru Kerr park to see the bald eagle in its nest then stop for a coffee or icecream. Everything within walking distance. Loved it.

We were in town from NC to visit the kids and grandkids. We stayed two nites. This was a great spot for 2 of us. Communication with host was easy and directions for check-in/check-out timely and precise. The house was cozy, very clean and bed very comfortable. Bathroom spacious and clean. Kitchen was well supplied. Appliances new. Very close to everywhere we wanted to be. We felt very welcomed. We look forward to coming and staying again many times. Liz and Bryon Wilson

Gorgeous Chalet on the Creek

My wife and I spent the weekend in Downingtown and rented this cute little place right on the Brandywine creek. It was a perfect little escape and the owners went out of their way to make sure our stay went well. Highly recommended and hope to stay here again in the summer.

Perfect Getaway

This quaint 1 bedroom 1 bathroom house is perfect for a long weekend or week long getaway. It's right along hey beautiful creek and directly across a well maintained park.

Our mini get away was perfect. The boat house was clean and comfy, overlooking the creek and nature. We went kayaking not to far, and barbecued by the creek. Bed was comfy, plenty linen. Hosts kept checking in if all was good. 5 stars

Anniversary weekend

The Boat House was perfect for me and the wife’s getaway for the anniversary weekend. The place was very quiet and gave us the privacy we needed for our getaway weekend. The boat house was a great location within walking distance to downtown and short drive to many local attractions.

anniversary getaway

the property was a little tricky to find but once there so nice overlooking the Brandywine river. very peaceful. would definitely go there again in warmer weather to sit on the deck and enjoy the view!

Beautiful View From Deck

The Boathouse was attractive and comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay. Saw a Bald Eagle fly by on the deck! Highly recommended.

Cute lil hidden spot

I really enjoyed my stay to the boathouse. I loved that it was in town but very secluded. The place itself is adorable. Perfect for a couple of 3 people to stay. I loved my personal note from the owners, small touches like these make my day! If the need aides I'll def stay again!

It's a lovely property tucked away on the Brandywine Creek; we watched herons and a family of geese; visited the Brandywine Museum and Jenkins Arboretum during a brief stay for a bridal shower. Would love to go back!
