Do not stay here
This unit is in complete disrepair. The furniture appears to be from Goodwill. The light switches do not turn on anything. Decor is non existent and the little there is, is poorly sized to the space. Appears they shopped at the beach store on the first floor. The kitchen cabinet doors are delaminating. There are 2 cheese graters if you are bored and want to have a cheese grating competition while on vacation. But don't go looking for a dry measure cup because there are none of those. Also missing basics like a kitchen scissor. The shower, although hot takes two hands to turn on or shut off. The showerhead is designed for those 5'4" and shorter. Water is so hard it sticks to your body. Shower is also dark. No additional sheets for the master bed. Bedroom light switches do not work, need to manually turn switches on floor lamps. TV remotes do not work. One remote has all the numbers and letters wiped completely off. Screen doors have several holes. One door is missing handle so hole is used to open and close screen. Chairs in dining room missing slides, feel bad for those below who have to listen to the scrapping of the chairs across the tile floor. No stools for counter. Balcony chairs so wobbly you feel like you might fall out at any time. There is more, but I do not have the time. Have been going to Destin for 41 years. Worst place we have ever stayed. Especially considering we paid 2k for a week. Thank God the beach and town are amazing!
