Full Kitchen, ready for cooking for large groups. By far the cleanest home I've rented.Less than 1.5 miles to the mall.Short walk to the beach. The house is 3 stories with the kitchen on the 2nd floor, just for others to be aware.

Great house/location

Few minor snafus, broken kitchen faucet/kitchen appliance, worn outbed matress, the house was great. Perfect size for big family, close to the beach.

We had high hopes for this stay given the price and location, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations—and some things felt downright misleading. The biggest issue was the refrigerator. For a house that sleeps 12, a dorm-size fridge is completely inadequate. After reading other reviews, it’s clear this has been a long-standing issue the owner has chosen not to fix or disclose. The king bed in one of the main bedrooms is broken and sinks badly in the middle, my husband had to sleep in a chair all week to avoid back pain. There was sand in one of the queen size beds that was not from us! Both Keurig machines were broken, and while the listing told us to bring beach gear, it failed to mention no personal beach equipment is allowed on the private beach. We were forced to rent through a vendor just to provide shade for our one-year-old, costing $200 per couple. Also, golf carts are not allowed, despite us planning to use one. Overall, for the high price, we expected a much better experience. The property has potential, but these issues need to be addressed—and more importantly, disclosed honestly. Would not stay again unless significant changes are made.

Great stay

Property was great and immaculate, however, could improve on kitchen supplies like coffee, sugar and cream, and salt and pepper. Also, no beach towel provided for a beach property. A few board games for entertainment would be nice too.

We had a good stay at this property. The property is located in a very exclusive area, with direct access to a private beach. The house is out 4/5 minutes walk from the beach. We had several age groups in our party, including our parents. The bedrooms downstairs were good for them, however, they had to climb a flight of stairs to get to the second floor kitchen/dining. We had a plumbing issue which was resolved promptly. The customer service/support was prompt. Overall, I would recommend this property for stay especially when you have more than 10 people in the group.

Destiny by the Sea

We had an amazing stay! The property was beautiful and very accommodating for our group. The proximity to the pool and beach was perfect. The only maintenance issue we had was that the locks did not work on the jack and jill bathroom doors. Overall, would highly recommend this stay and will likely stay again in the future. Customer service and the property manager was also amazing.

Wonderful

Only complaint was having to call customer service for the lock box code to get into the house. But they got us straightened out! Very apologetic and helpful customer service representative. Great location. Beautiful house. Quiet neighborhood. Two minutes from private beach access. Will stay again.

Spring Break 2024

We all enjoyed our stay! It was relaxing and re-energizing! The layout of the house was perfect and accommodated three families! Beach was just a block away and we could easily walk to restaurants! Our house in Destiny by the Sea was great!

Amazing stay

We traveled to Destin to celebrate our Mom’s birthday. There was more than enough room for four adults and four kids. We enjoyed walking to the beach everyday and the kids loved being a few feet away from the pool. Any issues we had were resolved quickly. Plenty of beach equipment so don’t worry about packing floats, chairs, or buckets and shovels. Would love to stay again

A few considerations for future guests

We absolutely LOVE this neighborhood and vacation here every summer! There was definitely noise from the Main Street in the back bedrooms of the home. Bring sound machines :) ScenicStays30A was super responsive and easy to work with, but our biggest concern was the grease trap in the grill. There was grease from the grill everywhere underneath of it, which is a huge safety hazard. (My husband cleaned the grease trap & the mat!) Not something we had hoped to do on vacation but for the safety of our family and future guests, we have notified the property management company about it. The ice maker was full of mold, so we bought ice. The layout of the house was amazing for two families with children!

Perfect stay

We had the most wonderful stay in Destiny by the Sea. The house was comfortable, spacious and accommodating. The kitchen had everything we needed, the grill was brand new. There were plenty of beach toys and accessories in the garage. We had everything we needed right there. The beach was beautiful and chair service was perfect. Highly recommend.

Beach is our happy place!

We have stayed in this neighborhood for years, many times but never during the middle of July. We will never come during that time. Too many teenage boys, too many bikes on y The streets and sidewalks and in the pool. It was just a different experience than before. I guess it was baseball nationals but it was a different environment and will arrange coming earlier next time! The house was perfect though, and the convince of the beach just too many bikes, too many boys and too many golf carts! It’s dangerous driving through neighborhood,, afraid u could hit a kid on a bike or in a golf cart!

Overall

The check in process was very quick and easy. There was a nice supply of essential items for the first few days. The cleanliness was a problem. There was sand still in the sheets of the beds. One bedroom had sand in the sheets and at the bottom of the bed had a place where dirty feet were there we had to wash all the sheets upon our arrival, during a pandemic this is concerning. We had issues with the ice maker and the grill the response time to fix was fantastic. The house is dated for the price floor tiles were broken but we did enjoy the location
